When you buy a $1,500 computer, you really gotta get an extended warranty. Things happen. Accidents happen, whether the laptop gets dropped, or water (or crumbs) spill on it. A video card can go out, a key can get stuck. I like that I just bring it into the store and it will be serviced. I don't how fast Geek Squad is, but I like that there's somewhere I can physically take it, if I need to.

So glad I purchased this protection. I take care of what I buy.

The only time I've ever had to use this service has resulted in a wonderful experience. Geek Squad made it super easy to get my laptop repaired. The manufacturer was so hard to deal with, so I called Geek Squad and they took the burden off of my shoulders and made things right, and the associates I spoke with were patient and were able to provide me with all the information I needed.

Buying a Chromebook for a middle-school child is a must and the protection was a no brainer - already made use of it when she dropped it down our staircase and the touch-screen sensitivity was gone. Brought the Chromebook in for repair, took a little longer than anticipated but she did a decent number on the item. Got it back in perfect shape, like new. Well worth the extra cash up front.

Best Buy has a great geek squad. When my iPhone X got stuck in a boot loop, they tried to resolve the issue for me first. When that led to a dead end, the replaced it with a replica model & told me to come back if there were any issues with the new phone. The team was nice & patient, they even made me feel comfortable having been there for nearly two & a half hours.

I know I have posted these Best Buy protection plans reviews on here several times, so I won't keep saying the same thing. Bottom line, the easiest and hassle free protection plan in my opinion there is that we have used. I would recommend to anyone that doesn't have the money to go out and replace anything at anytime over say $150 of electronics or appliance's. Bottom line.

I buy all my electronics from Best Buy and always add the Geek Squad services. They are well worth it and have paid for themselves, over products that I have purchased in the past.

I was given valuable advice from the guys at Geek Squad prior to my decision to make a purchase of an HP Laptop. They are knowledgeable and answered all my questions, no matter how complicated or simple they were.

This protection plan really helped me feel like I was fully set for any situation my device goes through instead of feeling that panic when I realize my laptop is a little too close to that ledge of the table.

I've had this laptop for almost 2 years now, and I must say I am surprised how well it's still performing. its still cool and no heating issues. It also runs games pretty smoothly. 10/10 must get.

First time purchasing this with a laptop, but it definitely paid off. Dropped my laptop around 8 months in and it scratched up the screen and caused chips to the body. With the protection plan they refunded me the full amount of the laptop since apparently the screen wasn't something that was fixable.
