The 3-Year Accidental Geek Squad Protection is a no brainer. I always get protection for anything over $25.

I buy peace of mind. But, sometimes maybe the product should give me the peace of mind by it's quality. Known brand names are are worthwhile, if they actually have quality control equal to documented expectation's with their overseas manufacturers.

My dad once told me that when you purchase extended warranties, you are betting against the product. So you have to decide if it is worth the price of the warranty versus the price of repair and/or replacement. Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes not.

Well worth it, after 2yrs the Dyson V6 just stopped charging. Best Buy gave back what I paid for it and I applied towards V7. V6 discontinued.
