I always purchase the protection plans incase anything happens If you ever need to use it Bestbuy always honors there protection plans

I was told to hook it up to see if it still had warranty Should have purcbaed it at the time of sale

It is a good ideal to make sure you have yourself covered if you have a problem with anything you purchase. I always get Geek Squad with everything I purchase.
