Protection is very important when it comes to get new electronics

Having the Geek Squad protection has saved my bacon more times than I could count . Laptops built today are so many sensitive parts and are pushed to their performance limits odds are you will have to deal with a repair . Instead of dealing with the manufacture, you set an appointment, drop it off and get it fixed .. They have added a “repair cost limit” before you pay out of pocket , but I’ve never reached that limit . It’s worth it

This has proven a great value for a teenagers laptop. When said laptop met it's untimeline dath via falling, this protection policy allowed us to replace it. It was almost painless. The one thing I wish was better, was communication over the month that we waited on the repair that never happened.

They replaced the computer after it failed in 6 weeks. That took a week (during which my daughter had no school computer). Then when checking out with the new computer I was asked if I wanted a repair plan. I responded that I had already paid for a four year repair plan. I was told that once a repair or replacement occurs the four year plan has been used and needs to be purchased again. So, buyer beware. A four year plan is only good till your computer breaks (even if it is the day after purchase), after which it is null and void.

Knowing that my device is covered for accidental damage gives me total peace of mind, especially since accidents can happen when you least expect it. No-brainer.

We service was fine. Laptop was sent out took a couple of weeks to repair.

This is a must have if you're buying fragile electronics like a laptop that you take outside of the home. We have already had to use this plan a couple times and had our laptop repaired with ease. We have also purchased these plans for things like our childs kindle tablet which again was worth the investment.

I don’t believe in most aftermarket warranties. But Geek Squad warranties are the real deal. I always purchase one with laptop purchases because it’s hassle free and they don’t quibble about replacing or repairing a laptop with that warranty. I have not had to use it on my son’s college laptop, but the peace of mind of anything goes wrong is good to have.

Speed, capacity and color are awesome. Pretty light laptop.

I haven't needed to use it yet, but I have in the past and must say it's amazing! My first computer had some power issues and with this bundle I was able to bring in at no additional charge!

Great investment. If I had not purchased it I would have regretted it. I ended up having to bring it in and have it replaced. Geek squad did everything they could for me in a timely manner. Watch out for those gaming laptops they will sucks out your battery life very quickly. Thanks.

Used the warranty on an issue with my son's chromebook. It has a tiny dent on the top cover pressing down on components causing the screen to have vertical colored lines. I explained the issue to GeekSquad, and they submitted the ticket and provided a mail-in box. It took just over a week on return of the unit and it works just fine. Nice to have when it is being taking to school my a 6th grader every day!

Every kid in school has to have one. This was an inexpensive option and gets the job done. Im sure we will be buying more since they break easily. But that's all of them. If you want an inexpensive but functional chromebook try this one.

I will never buy anything over $200 from Best Buy without also purchasing the geek squad warranty. It’s just not worth it to invest in some thing and not have the peace of mind to know that if you’re crazy son decides to throw a football at your laptop or vacuums up his bag of marbles, this geek squad warranty will cover everything. So glad that I got this because I have crazy kids... Who may or may not like to vacuum up marbles.

Great insurance if product is broken great to have it

We paid about $2500 for our laptop with protection. The Geek Squad protection which was about $450 for 3 years, we only had the laptop for less than a year. We got the money back for our device! So, to me we only lost about 1/5 of the total amount I paid in the first place. That is great!
