Went middle of the road on this rating because I haven’t used geek squad and I’m sure by the time I have a problem my year will be up anyways.

I will always get this protection service on electronics I buy at Best Buy. After my new t.v. developed a line in the screen after only 6 months, the model I had was no longer made or available. Best Buy was great about helping me and making sure I got a comparable replacement.

I love Geek squad, one time they came to my house to help my mom fix her computer and the guy ended up playing a really good game of Halo 3 with me after helping her .

If you buy something that is valuable you have to get protection so you wont have to worry about breaking it and having to buy a new one at the same price again. This is much needed if you know you will have regrets if your device accidentally breaks.

It’s a good simple computer for someone who wants a first computer. I’d recommend this computer for high schoolers who need a computer.

This will make a great difference and help me feel more secure should any mishaps occur with the computer

I have not been required to use the protection plan but enjoy the piece of mind that if my laptop begins having issues Best Buy will repair or replace it in a timely manner.

Have had too many mishaps with laptops and hope this one isn't as use service as most. Geek squad has always been a good source for my husbands iphone.

I got the 2 year protection plan on my new laptop seeing that my old one broke. I have already had to use the plan and the process was very smooth.

I always get the accidental warranty when it comes to something that is over 500 dollars. Best Buy has replaced many things I have spilled on and various tablets I have broken over the years.

I purchased this geek squad on my sons previous laptop, it was by far the smartest purchase i have ever made. Geek squad was great to work with!

Worth the extra price for a peace of mind, considering the purchase was for a middle school aged boy.

this is a good option protection after the manufacture warranty expires, protects you for anything can happen during the normal use, the bad thing is that even they sell is international is not. just not easy to have the protection on a trip or international travel, yuhae to wait until you come back to USA

This protection plan for Geek Squad is highly recommended for those who want their electronics worry free. Everytime I bought some pricey electronics like laptop, I always bought this protection plan. Whatever happened to your gadget Greek squad will cover you.

I like the fact that if something happens to it, it is covered. I have not used it yet, but I am going to renew it.

I went ahead and purchased the $140 for one year warranty. Hopefully if anything happens to my computer there isn't any fine print and they actually honor the warranty. Otherwise the $140 is extremely high, I think. On the other hand, hopefully I never have to use it. I'm going to mark "yes" for if I would recommend to a friend, which I am still on the fence about. It's a required field, so I have to pick one.
