    Make sure customer service who books appointments knows what the hours of the store are. Booked me for an 820 pm appointment, store closed at 8 pm. Complete fail.

    Lied lied lied aboit buying in bome support in computer and everyone is dosabled. Never ever trust best buy. Been burmed before. Gave a chance after 20 years still lies. Buy at dell at least theh come out

    Geek Squad is a joke. They want to try to repair before sending it out . To the manufacture wasted your time. Waiting for days

    when I purchased my new computer. This offer popped up to purchase and I thought OK so if I have problems I can take it in to be worked on. The whole reason for buying from Best Buy. Well it doesn't cover my computers issues right now it only covers damage due to dropping breaking the outside. Well this is a desk top not a laptop. When I purchased that wasn't what I thought this was. I don't know why the offer popped up when I was purchasing a desktop. Now my computer is broke and if I pay another $200 I can get it fixed. I won't do this again.

    I bought the iBuyPower-SlateMR Gaming Desktop SKU# 6500551 for $799.99 I would have been better off using that money to go to Las Vegas and having better luck than I did getting this system to operate with any consistency. It froze up while playing a game or just being on the internet. I sent it to be repaired via Geek Squad and yes I purchased a service plan too. I got the system back with the claim it was working fine. Soon after it went back to freezing up again. Thanks Best Buy for nothing.

    If you want protection you can count on from people who know tech , pretty good. It's why I pick bestbuy for most gaming things

    Bought an open box computer thinking that if something went wrong it would be covered. Unfortunately this protection is misleading and my only option was to pay for another $180 plan.

    When I brought my computer to Geek Squad, the team member refused to run a diagnostic on it because my monitor didn't have a warranty. I paid over 1k for this desktop, and I do not help fix my laptop because it does not have a "Best Buy" monitor.

    To be honest I don’t know. I usually hate protection plans as products usually break down after it ends. But you never know. It’s like a gamble.

    Cannot really review because I haven't needed it and that may be a positive thing. I don't want to have to use it, really. But I paid for something I didn't need or use and that's not a good feeling either.

    It’s a good plan as my wife accidentally dropped our Lenovo and the screen cracked. The only problem I faced were the constant changes they kept making when I turned it in to get fixed. All in all it took about a month and half to get a simple screen fixed. They never called texted or emailed to update us on the status.

    Not happy with there service. Purchased 2 Samasung Galaxy A71 5g phone got the protection. My phone got accidentally dropped out of my pocket during winter it hit a ice chunk shattered the screen. Drove 1hr ina half to bestbuy to be shipped a replacement that was refurbished not new replacement and i paid the deductible for a used piece of crap replacement. Why dont they let you get a replacement in store for the same price of your phone I was ripped off by bestbuy an geeksquad the phone were 600 a piece. SO WORD TO THE WARNING DONT GET THIS.

    PC I purchased messed up so took it to geek squad and didn’t get any updates when it was sent off. Finally was told it could be exchanged for a new PC after I called. Lots of false information given and spent months trying to figure out how to get the exact same product and protection plan I had. Customer service was not very helpful and supervisor I spoke to was rude and talked over me. Issue has still not been resolved because they keep sending me to talk to different people.
