    Customer service is heinous. I hat ecalling them/ dealing with GeekSquad. last three phone calls they give me the phone number I just called and tell me that they aren't trained to handle my request, and ask that I call a number instead of transferring me or asking for help from another team memeber.

    Brought back dead pc with 3 yr geek squad 24hrs after receiving it and the would not fix, only option was turn it in. Not pleased about it as it was a Black Friday deal and they had no more. Out of stock still.

    I had a corruped harddrive, so they junked the entire computer and gave me store credit, but there wasn't a single comparible machine in stock anywhere near the price. So, here I sit with store credit that I can't use, while my business has been disabled. My sole proprietorship has been disabled by Best Buy's Geek Squad. If I could sell the store credit to someone, I would, but nobody even wants it. I'm locked in and sick of it.

    When I did have to call the Geek Squad the one time, they were of no use whatsoever. I am hopeful is I have to call them again in the future that I have a better experience

    The protection plans seem to be extremely effective when being sold, but seems to cover very little when being used.

    they had my daughters lap top in for "tune up" and to put on anti virus, 1st time in they "forgot" to install antivirus, finally we get it back out doesn't work, we were told computer was no good, that we should have known this could happen, i took it back, went in finally got it back after i told then i wanted it replaced, and i magically works again. I may be older but in not stupid

    Truly one of the worst experiences ever. I never recirved the pc thay came with this protection plan and I still haven't gotten a refund after an entire month-and-a-half, even after speaking to a staff member. If I could rate it 0/10 stars I would.

    Terrible, bought a computer, it was damaged upon arrival. Returned computer and bought the protection plan for the replacement and then was cancelled and refunded when the damaged computer was returned and was refused the option to add it back for the price I had paid when I bought it. Very dissatisfied!!

    This protection thing is a fraud, I bought a computer and it turned out bad when I returned it, they did not return the protection money supposedly because they returned the money for the computer to a gift card and that was supposedly what the protection covered as if I had the fault that the item was defective and damaged

    I bought this so I wouldnt have any issues with set up of a new gaming PC. According to the sales person I would be covered with the geek squad protection . Was I? No! I called after hours of trying to do it by myself. I was told to call the PC Manufacturer unless I wanted to pay ANOTHER $199 after fkrever being ran around and even hung up on 1x. I was shocked at the service. I finally figured it out on my own. I will NEVER EVER EVER believe a sales person from Best Buy or buy Geek squad protection. This was super frustrating and completely avoidable.

    Terrible, terrible, terrible! Computer started displaying lines on the screen after only a couple months of very limited use. Good thing I bought the total protection plan right? WRONG! They’ve had my son’s computer for several weeks and I was just notified that I will need to pay $100 plus tax for repairs- on top of the total protection plan! For a computer that’s 3 months old! Terrible computer, terrible plan, terrible store!

    After paying over 3k for a PC and 3 year protection plan Best Buy asked for more money to fix my computer while it was still two years under the protection plan. All I was having was texture loading issues on two games. You will never get a dime of my money again. Closing credit and account with Best Buy.
