I have needed the Geek Squad several times. I guess it depends on who is helping you, but I have only had 1 good experience when face-to-face with staff from Geek Squad. They seemed uninterested and not really wanting to the time to really explain what it is they are doing for you. Basically rushed out of my appointment time that I was allocated pretty quickly - so a little disappointing.

this is a great warranty to have incase your item is broken or malfunctioning...

Got this for my dad as a Christmas gift. This is a good tablet for the price range and does what he needs it to do.

Best decision made while buying my electronics is to get peace of mind.

I got a tablet for a family member and just for protection in the future. I havent had any problems to report yet.

I bought the extra warranty so that in case anything ever should happen to his tablet he can get it fixed.

purchased for my surface pro; hopefully they can give me store credit for a computer that is not repairable. Upset that they gave me the run around and sent me to the manufacturer just to come back to them and tell me they have to service it. shoulda did that the first time

It was a nightmare to deal with Geek Squad over the freezer I purchased. I got the runaround. I spoke with countless people on getting the freezer repaired/junked. In-store employees were a nightmare. Customers do NOT come first. I want to know how it is that GS doesn't make service calls on smaller freezers. It's not like one can easily pack up a freezer to take into the store for repair/junking. It's rather a safety hazzard to everyone involved. I would recommend GS for other things - but they fail with medium size appliances.
