I bought these to use on a road trip for my kids. We have a vehicle with second and third row seating. I didn’t know until I opened them and tried to use them in the car, that there is no battery for them, and they both have to be plugged in to be used, but the package only comes with one vehicle power adapter, that is a Y cord to plug both in together. That’s fine if I wanted them in the same row of seats, but I wanted one in the second row and one in the third row. In order to do that, I either have to have cords roped all through my van, or buy a second power adapter (it comes with a home outlet power cord, but my van doesn’t have one, so I need either a power inverter or a second vehicle power cord for my vehicle). You do have to unstrap the Velcro in order to change out the dvd, but that wasn’t too much of a hassle, we just swapped dvds when we stopped or had one of our older kids do it for the younger kids. Overall, it gets the job done.

I was only able to use this service briefly in person because in store help for my new iPad and new Mac was discontinued and with hearing issues it is difficult to get help over the phone.

best idea, tho i wasn't happy about the item no longer being available so you have to up grade, but there is no questions asked, it was broke the replace your item for something similar… can't go wrong with purchasing this..

Wish I had discovered this earlier. I have purchased bad products at Best Buy & had to dump them in the trash. Usually cheap Chinese material.

The straps are vertical and about 6 inches apart and and wouldn’t fit on my cars headrest

I always get this for the items I purchase at Best Buy. Simply because "you never know." Things happen, components fail, and it just gives me peace-of-mind. So often I found that my devices fail just after the manufacturer's warranty expires. This 3-year accidental Geek Squad Protection is like a safety net; it extends the time period for malfunctions past the paltry one-year period, and also covers accidental damage that the original warranty would not cover--like liquid damage, or drops. I feel like they always have me covered--such as in a few days ago when after doing some Windows Updates, my son's computer failed to boot properly, and began power-cycling, and then the power started to fail. The only downside to this is that repairs are done out-of-state, at their facility in Kentucky, so we are without the computer for 6-8 weeks (according to the Geek Squad staff) but hopefully sooner. If the computer cannot be repaired, then we can get a replacement. That really is assuring. Just dropped a star because this process takes so long...
