i have used this b4 its worth the investment and helped alot

The plan starts the day it’s purchased but I think it would be better if it starts either the day the item is received(mine was shipped to me) or installed.

why would you skip a protection plan? It keeps everything safe

Geek squad service has been hit or miss from my experience. It's saved my butt a few times and others it has been completely useless and more of a headache than anything else. If you can afford it, I guess its a good idea.

Great blender, does get stuck when not enough liquid added to fruit. Blade does get dawl ocer time with use. Recommend getting warranty

Car stereo does not keep the time... I have called more than once trying to get an appointment to get this looked at since it was purchased and installed at Best Buy. I have not been able to get an appointment so far. The last time I called, I was on hold forever and then your computer system went down. Also the backup camera does not work because it is not hooked up.

Not the best , thats why i gave it 3 stars. Its okay does what its supposed to but its already acting up.

this is the second product I had installed by Best Buy. The tech lacks experience because as the second product Ive brought in why am I on my 4th visit. If you advertise "Professional Install" it should be done right the first time and I "Not an Expert" should not be pointing out faults with techs work.

But you don’t always need it and there’s no was to know unless to invest/waste your money. I would not “recommend” it - I think you need to own that decision!

Said install included, but store refused to install the radio because I have a motorhome. The size of the unit scared them. Then said if it did not fit inside their shop they could not install it. I don't understand because there is more room to move about to install.

Wouldn’t pay for geek squad service ever again . Junk expensive computer . Also ERASED ENTIRE HARDDRIVE

I installed the car stereo myself, so I don't believe I have this coverage.

I bought a nice boss 10 inch head unit, with a kicker amp, two very nice 8x10 kicker speakers in Oxnard best buy. Had to wait 8 weeks for instal in porter ranch. I tried myself but got no sound. Showed for my appt. To instal & after 5 hours, I paid $200 for the instal , they got no sound. After telling a few management people what my needs were at that point they ordered me a Sony unit, that they installed a week later. However, when they gave my car after instal, the cable from the sterio to the amp, was broken off in the amp, the sub was not hooked up & two speakers they were going to connect the did not. Where I made my mistake was paying up front, before I figured out what they didn't do. If I had the ethics to charge people for a job I couldn't do, I couldn't. But best buy can. I had to spend more money and go another place. I m sure not all Best buys are like I this, but the install dept sucks, never again.

If you are worried the product is going to break within the next 4 years, then I would suggest it. If you want to take a gamble, then don't.
