Never have bought anything without insurance. You may not think it’s worth it now but accidents do happen from point a to b or the cat or dog we’re playing a bit to hard. Don’t walk out without your insure item.

Great TV I love the picture quality and the streaming network installed

This is a great (refundable) option if you want protection. Bought it for my last TV and when we relocated and left the TV behind, Best Buy prorated my refund and I got a good chunk of change back, so my warranty fee wasn't wasted on something I no longer owned! Great way to go for peace of mind protection.

18 month old Samsung tv stopped working for no reason. Purchased a new tv from Best Buy and got a 5 year warranty. Best Buy offers the geek squad who I was able to call and set up my new tv. Excellent customer service

I bought this to replace my old TCL that had its power supply randomly get destroyed. This model is a major upgrade in picture, and I haven't noticed the same spy chips from my previous TCL. Totally recommended as it's comparable to TV's 3x its price.

The geek squad technicians that came to my home to service my tv were very good. However, the customer service on the phone, scheduling (a 12 HOUR WINDOW) and the lack of follow through (being told someone will call me back or email me) from the escalation team and never hearing from anyone. And being told that there must be 3 SERVICE CALLS (not including diagnostic ones) in order for them to replace the broken tv) made this a very bad customer service experience.

I don't usually buy protection plans because it's better sometimes to buy a new product most times it becomes an upgrade.However money was tight, so Geek squad came to the house, did an evaluation and gave us store credit for a new TV .

I bought a TV in 2017 and also purchased a 5 year Geek Squad warranty. I know some people will say warranties usually expire before you need them, but in this case, I was so glad I had it. The old TV suddenly stopped working, Geek Squad sent someone to check it out, it could not be repaired, so they replaced it with a new TV. I purchased another 5 year warranty for this new TV.

Not many places will come to your home and repair appliances. The geek squad does. Purchase with best buy and get your moneys worth with this extra benefit.

Haven't had to use Geek Squad yet for any broken items but have purchased open box items in the past that they have certified and the items are always exactly as described so they seem to know how to rate items and what comes with and how to use a device. Geek Squad was also instrumental with getting me a refund on an installation gone bad on my dishwasher (note - Geek Squad wasn't the installer).

I have been getting the Geek Squad protection on my Best Buy purchases for years. It's definitely worth it as they will either fix the problem or replace the item with the newest model if the model isn't available any longer. I love having the piece of mind knowing that if something happens, I don't have to spend a ton of money to replace it. Geek Squad is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. Definitely worth the money for larger purchases.

We've only had our TV for a little over a month, but I feel so much better knowing that I have this service, just in case anything happens. Thank you, GEEK SQUAD!!!

Geek squad protection is the one reason I will always buy my electronics from Best Buy.

I had a five-year plan on my previous TV which went up unexpectedly. It took a couple weeks to have the TV looked at but they found it done. When they issued the replacement they gave me full value towards the new one. I actually upgraded my TV from the 50 inch switch died to a new 55 inch same brand for about 30 bucks!

Did not order this set up service. Was informed that this is a much better warranty and that you stick by it as Amazon does not stick by their warranties.

Love the television but really appreciated Steven Wrenn of Geek Squad who installed it within my home theater group. He was professional, knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining everything to me. I also purchased at his suggestion a master remote controller. He programmed and again explained how to find everything I needed. I LOVE having one device do it all. If I ever need a Geek Squad service call I hope Steven is one to respond. I am attaching a photo showing quality of picture.

If you’re making a major purchase. Check the manufactures warranty , then consider getting a Geek Squad Warranty. It covers just about everything for a TV. Why buy a Higher end TV and trust that nothing will happen. It might not But what if it does. Is it worth the repair cost? Hopefully I will never need to use it. But if something goes wrong I’m pretty much covered.
