If you ever had a tv break just after the warranty ran out you will realize how nice it is to have the additional protection offered with the Geek Squad Protection. I hope to never use it but it is nice to have it there if I need id.

I think that this was a good purchase and will pay for itself over the life of the agreement. I would suggest that others consider this purchase for big tag items.

I'm finally writing a review for this tv. I had a thunderstorm about a few months after purchase and the quality of the tv hasn't been the same. I reached out to best buy to come fix my tv and just like most of you said, I had to contact Hisense to come out. because of the Manufacture first year warranty. Three tv specialist have been to my home and nothing has changed. The picture isn't sharp/clear at all anymore. I was told that I have to deal with this tv until after the one-year warranty is over. I couldn't believe I had to wait this long to enjoy my tv. Withing this timeframe I went back to best buy and brought another 85-inch tv which I'm happy with. I agree with one of you said, why did I pay for a 5-year warranty when it really a 4-year warranty? My one year is coming up, and I hope best buy can take care of their loyal customers. But I wouldn't recommend this tv for anyone. The worst tv I ever brought.

I almost always buy Geek Squad protection because it has always paid off. Even though its not cheap I always come out ahead. The convenience is a big plus. Very often I can be told how to get something to work on my own by an agent.

Always get the protection on big purchases. Best Buy makes it simple to get things replaced and fixed.

I would not purchase any electronic device without the Geek Squad coverage they are always professional and if they can not fix it they replace it you cant beat that service.

The new OLED was a big investment and the five year warranty gives us piece of mind should anything go wrong. The Geek Squad has proven to be highly skilled with electronics.
