Just an ok tv.

The tv sat in the same place as my previous LG tv but we had to turn the volume up to 100% to hear it. We didn't want to do it but we finally had to retun it.

Not happy how it works

I paid for 5 years extended warranty, but the first year runs in parallel with the 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. But you have to have it due to built-in obsolescence.

Completely Useless

FOR REPLACEMENT:BEEN CONTACTING 3DAYS, NO ANSWER

Someone called from extended warranty and gave me number to call for replacement. Been calling for 3 days now, been on hold for hours and still couldn't connect to anyone at number provided: 888-613-9853. I wasted too many of my time. I also tried to do agent chat from bestbuy website and still couldn't get anyone. so frustrating!!

Protection plan

They consider it physically damage but there are no cracks or anything on the tv screen. The plan is a waste or money which I am sure they knowing already.

I will not be purchasing any more tvs from best buy with these weak warrenties. I think they lying about it anyway. Went down hill when they got rid od reward statuses. I will be purchasing 80 inch some where that cares about customers needs.

5 year warranty

Save your money

Geek Squad used to be great but now it is just a cash grab for Best Buy. If you don't BUY service they will not help. Brought a laptop up to have it looked at and left ticked off after being told I can't drop off a laptop unless I had an appt...and in order to make an appt had to buy a plan from Geek Squad...like I said just a cash grab

Horrible Service

I had to ask the manager, "Is this what you call costumer service". All in all this wosrt experience Ive EVER had. Thank You Best Buy

Broken tv

Review the fine print
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extended warranties for large apliances are a must but for tv and small personal items read the fine print, or discuss the coverage with the sales associate. I purchased the coverage for a Samsung tv, to find out they will not cover a cracked screen, granted my 7 yr old son tapping on the screen to wipe off a smudge didn't help either. But when you say 100 % coverage then say " coverage won't cover a crack in the screen" that's not 100%...I know the screen was cracked due to contact , it's not like I took a sledge hammer to it. It was an accident , what ever the reason read the fine print!

Terrible protection coverage

This will cover what the normal manufacture warranty will cover. Best Buy could care less about the type of accident and even with Geek Squad Protection they will do nothing. Save your money DO NOT PAY FOR GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION!

Not satisfied!!!

The screen cracked from the inside some how and Geek Squad said they would clean the TV but that was it. I really could have bought the TV from __________ or _______ for the response I got from them I tried calling the 1 -800 number when they found out what I was calling about I was on hold for like an hour, finally had to hang up. Won't get the protection plan again, it's a waste of money. Guessing I have to buy my grands a TV every year if I buy it from here.
