    Purchased protection plan because sales rep said it covers accidental damage on tv. No it doesn't as we had an accident because of our special needs child. They wouldn't do anything. Sent in numerous complaints to main office and customer service. No one gets back to you. Don't buy anything from best buy. Bad customer service. Would give 0 stars but it won't allow.

    Paid for complete protection in home. had it installed by geek squad. now I can't get removed to get it fixed. been on phone for 4 hours, 7 people so far have passed me along to another person.

    I have no idea of how to use it. There's no clear explanation on the website of who and how to contact for replacement of product.

    There is no geek in my area even though the stores are 2 hrs away in 2 different directions. Very disappointing. I was told I have to bring item....even tv to the store myself.

    No full screen picture option. Disappointed with the quality. Price was good,but you get what you pay for. I returned the tv...no hassel.

    I was told it would cover any damage so I got the coverage. It doesn't cover broken screens on TV's So I don't get what I would have needed it for.

      Although we do have accidental damages on many of our items in the store, our TV's do not offer such protection. I do apologize if you were not told this from the start accurately, but you should still be eligible for a prorated credit for the unused portion of the protection plan.     They came and said I could get another tv and a refund would be sent guess what that never happened $500 down the drain I called the company and they said they sent it they never did and never got back to me so I took a loss

    I got the geek squad and the way they sell it to you sounds so good til something happens and they say it doesn’t cover that.

    Geek Squad is a waste of money for certain TVs

    Best Buy refuses to help me with my TV until the manufacturer goes through their process first. I already had the manufacturer’s warranty, what is the purpose of the geek squad plan?

    I purchased a 5 protection plan for my Samsung 46in TV. almost 2 years to the day, it failed, no picture at all. I called and was informed that I had to wait for a service tech, could not take it to the store because it was over 42 inches. I will probably be without a tv for over a month, even though I spend the $$ on the 5 year plan. Will never buy another thing from best buy, no wonder they are close to chapter 11.

    worst service ever ! Geek squad made my experience with Sony TV very terrible and I do recommend Best Buy to find another service provider who care for their customers.

    Brought protection plan tv broke took it to geek squad said it wasn't covered so I no longer need protection plans are to purchase electronics from best buy. In the long run I'll save money by going else where ✌
