This has been the complete failure for TV replacement. Manufacture only touts that they are working on firmware updates and keep asking us to wait until they fix the issues and then bestbuy keeps touting that it is only up to the manufacture to handle all the issues within the first year. Have been stuck with a frustrating family situation when ever we try and turn the set on and make it work right with the new gaming machines. This turned out to be a big joke. BestBuy is certainly no longer the company they used to be. They took care of us for years and the last 3 -4 years has been a nightmare of experiences and Sams and Walmart have never failed to just address the problem and take care of it immediately and on several products we didn’t even have the extended warranty. They just seem to stand up for the consumer and try to do the right thing, not the corporate thing. We have since stopped over 33 people and family from doing any future business with BestBuy.

Can not purchase a flagship tv w/o an extended warranty (safety net)

I love that it cover so much. Just wish it was a year longer being the TV actually comes with a 1 year warranty itself.

I got 5 years in home coverage on my 55" tv for $79. That's a great deal! No worries here.

I always add this plan, you never know when you are going to need it!

its better to let someone else pay for ur things if life happens because usually you don't have the extra to replace it when life happens

The customer service from geek squad is horrendous. I set up a service call to repair a LG OLED tv before Memorial Day because it doesn't power on. A quick internet search reveals there is a known issue with the power board, which was confirmed during the first visit. Yet here it is after the 4th of July holiday, no new power board and no working tv. The local store cannot (or claims it cannot) provide any help. All you can do is call an 800 number, be placed on hold, and be told they will call you back with a repair date, which doesn't happen. No one seems interested in fixing my TV.

The agents have been extremely helpful whenever inhave needed them. Great customer service.

I purchased a 2 year warranty because nothing is perfect in this world. With the geek squad on my side and know I will be taken care of.
