I wanted peace of mind when purchasing my new tv and this provides just that.

As always, anytime I purchase something eligible for GSP I always include it. As soon as I don't, something goes wrong, and then I'm screwed.

The guys and gals there are always easy to talk to and get my stuff up and running

They came out and mounted my tv and helped get me used to the menus etc quick and simple.

Best Buy has the best warranty in its class you must get geek squad protection

Bought for my Samsung 32 inch TV for less than $30.00. Thought is was a good value for five years.

With just a simple phone call to geek squad, questions answered immediately. Offered to come to my home if necessary.

They made it seem like this would protect your purchase from accidents when it only protects if your tv stops working because of manufacturing issues. I feel like they should state it clearly and I paid an extra 50 dollars for no reason.

This is an excellent protection plan and I have brought from every product I buy from Best Buy, but never had to use it.

I am eating this as a 4 star, but I have not needed to use it. I hope my tv doesn't have any issues and never need to. Best of luck to me.

The protection and expertise from the Geek Squad makes me feel comfortable that I am in good hands.

The customer service from geek squad is horrendous. I set up a service call to repair a LG OLED tv before Memorial Day because it doesn't power on. A quick internet search reveals there is a known issue with the power board, which was confirmed during the first visit. Yet here it is after the 4th of July holiday, no new power board and no working tv. The local store cannot (or claims it cannot) provide any help. All you can do is call an 800 number, be placed on hold, and be told they will call you back with a repair date, which doesn't happen. No one seems interested in fixing my TV.
