    My previous TV went out no picture or sound. I had a service tech come out to my house and looked over what was going on. He had to order parts for my TV. Once the parts was delivered to my house he came out a second time (both times were free of charge). The TV still would not work. So with the warranty, I got the price that I paid for the TV in a Best Buy Gift Certificate. I then purchased my new TV and still had money left over on my gift certificate. Also the service tech that came to my house was very knowledgeable and helpful. Very pleased

    Have not had to use yet, but Best Buy sells warranty based on sale price, not original price , so it is an INCREDIBLE value. If you buy your item on sale, open box, or Clearance, don't hesitate to make the investment in the warranty. My TV was on sale for $399 from $749 and warranty was probably of what it would have been if not onsale.

    Great smart tv. The interface is smooth. All apps work perfecty fine. Wish it was a little brighter. Would recommend Apple tv for better picture quality

    Bought this tv in Dec. 2000. It was a decent tv at a great price until the screen no longer worked. Geek Squad to the rescue. My tech Josh was the nicest guy and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue and gave me a step by step answer of how to resolve my issue. I couldn't recommend Geek Squad enough and will never go with out it again.

    We stay in Florida and our house was built before the 1970s, so no 3 wire electrical. Everytime we have a T-storm something is bound to get hit. Even with surge protectors and battery backups on all the expensive TV's and devices. So paying the extra for geek squad protection is a must have and a no brainer.

    It was for a peace of mind I bought the protection plan, but I'm a bit skeptical as to the coverage detail that the sales rep told me that "ANY problems with the TV, I can get an exchange for same model TV or if not available, can get full refund on the TV with credit issued on bestbuy gift card", which does not seem so as I am reading a lot of different reviews about the coverage for this service. I guess I have to be content for the fact that I am definitely covered for repairs (which I am also finding reviews saying that coverage doesn't repair internal screen problems?), but would be nice for the sales person to be better informed or be honest about the coverage, not conning the customers for their own sales quote.

    I purchased this along with a 50 inch LG 4K TV. We got the TV as a replacement for one that ceased to work. Fortunately, we had purchased the Geek Squad Protection plan on our previous TV as well. Best Buy took care of everything, they shipped our old TV to their repair shop and once they determined it was not repairable, they gave me the replacement value of the TV covered under the plan. It was a no brainer to purchase this plan on the new TV. Highly recommended!

    I always get a geek squad protection plan. Last time the back panel of LG went out and all images had such a strong blue hue. They came and looked at it then gave me a credit to get a new tv.

    Geek Squad Protection Plans Are Worth every Penny

    I highly recommend adding a protection plan to your purchase. Even a quality product may have a catastrophic failure. We lost our 2-year-old refrigerator when severe thunderstorms hit the power grid. Best Buy replaced the refrigerator and compensated for food spoilage. The protection plans are worth every penny.

    I had one year left on this extended warranty which really paid off about a year ago when I returned to my summer and found my 75" Panasonic dead. The first technician who showed up was less than friendly, though in all fairness, did a good job of the initial installation, when I got my regular Geek Squad tech out to finish the job, everything worked out beautifully.
