Always buy the protection. It’s worth it. I’ve used it a few times, a back light problem on lg tv. Tv hit by surge etc.

You gotta have protection for your products. I understand we have the warranty from Lg tv but, you can never be too safe now a days. That’s the reason I bought the extended protection plan through Best Buy and it’s well worth it

Great warranty feature when something is not your fault. The only thing that does not cover is if its your fault such as dropping something or breaking it on purpose, but sure is helpful with laptops to avoid internal system breaks.

I haven't taken advantage of the service yet but it is good to have the peace of mind.
