I mean its honestly worth the extra $60 i think it was. It covers alot the manufacturer warranty wouldn't.

Glad to know my TV is protected by Geek Squad. My TV is protected for 5 years for a convenient price. Last TV was destroyed during moving not taking the same chances again.

Purchased 5 year warranty for an open box TCL TV R646. They were professional and helpful when advising on the 5 year warranty. I have no issues with tv so far but good to know I have that extra warranty/coverage in case anything happens.

Well worth it for certain item levels. Very useful option for peace of mind. Since Samsung doesn't think much of their products and provide a minimal warranty I got this to be safe. My last tv has lasted well but the next one failed in less than 2 yrs. I Showed them the issues and they instantly gave me full credit of purchase price. Too bad they don't consider a sale price when giving credit. I had to pay out a little over $100 to get an exact replacement with the current model since there were no sales at the time.

I have spent a lots of money over the years. Being a customer for over 30 years plus. And i haven't had to many return merchandise. And i am going to give Best Buy 10.

my tv was 40 days old and the hdmi ports burned out , made a call and got a repair person out the next week

OLED TVs are known to occasionally have risk of burn in, so geek squad protection is always a great idea when the warranty is only a year.

Pice of Mind having this protection is a comfort, and all is that!

Please listen to the BestBuy sales person when they talk to of this amazing plan, I had at first immediately shut him down and didn’t let him explain, I was wrong and should of been open and heard him out. When I got home and my order had to be changed because of availability and pricing, I found a great deal for Geek squad included in the add on suggestions so I added into the cart to see what it would do. I was in desperate and FAST need of replacing broken down kitchen appliances in a nee to me home because within a year I had no working fridge or oven Holy moly! I saved so much more on installation and haul away then I did on the geek squad plan itself! And 4 months later when my garbage disposal ALSO died, I used the plan to have that delivered and installed! And I still have 7 months left on my plan! Thank you BestBuy for such a great service

This for us is a no brainer. If your making a big investment the piece of mind geek squad gives you is nice. I bought this exact same tv a couple of years ago with no protection true story and after a couple of months the screen broke. That tv is at the town dump. Anything can happen and no it wasn’t the kids. Life happens. Even after the year a line can come down one side then the other and your out of luck. Then you’ll be wishing you got that protection. So take my inexperience as a reviewer and just get that much needed protection. Hope I helped.

Had to use my extended warranty. Best Buy was very helpful and took care of the problem. They credited the full cost of my old tv to my new tv, Would recommend the extended warranty. It saved me a lot of money. Happy customer.

Tvs are made to break eventually, whether its the leds, motherboards, wear and tear, etc....devices aren't made to last anymore and they become obsolete eventually. Such is the way now.....I think its always best to get the protection plan.

I love to always get a Protection for the years cause you never know what will happen. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
