    But this for all tvs , I am usually the guy that says no to this by default. But I got it because the tv was so cheap. It was tcl, of course screen went out after a year. Called best buy came out next day , evaluated tv . Got to pick a replacement and pick it up same day. Could of had it delivered but I am impatient lol. Just get it.

    Geek Squad 5 year warranty for new TV

    Purchased the 5 year warranty for our new Samsung 70” TV. Hopefully we won’t have to use it but if something fails in the next 5 years we are covered! (As long as it is not a cracked or broken screen). Keep any young children away from the TV screen so this doesn’t happen!

    I bought 2 years of Geek Squad Protection for a Hisense TV. The tv had a manufacture warranty for 2 years. I started having issues with the TV as soon as it got outside of the warranty. Hisense said they couldn’t help so I called Best Buy to see about my Geek Squad Protection, the rep told me it ran concurrently with my manufacturer warranty from Hisense. So I’m not only out the money for a defective TV, I’m out $120 for GSP that didn’t start after my manufacturer’s warranty ended.

    I have had overall luck with the service for the past items I've purchased in the past. Most times they provided a box to ship back the defective product and they send a replacement quickly. The only time I needed to go to the local store was to move data from an old PC to a new PC. The staff was pleasant overall, however needed to get the supervisor involved to cover the data transfer per the agreement of the plan since the team member was new and unfamiliar with the plan.

    Got this on sale. Great picture and decent sound. TV OS is a bit laggy but not unbearble. Great for watching Netflix, was super easy to sign into all my streaming apps!

    This protection plan is a must , it’s always good to protect your electronics , you never know what can happen , all this years being a BB customer the protection plans have saved me lot of money on repairs

    I had bought a Vizio tv where it would shut of intermittently so I called Vizio they were no help. So bought a new Samsung tv I love this thing to death always purchase a extended warranty I hope I don’t have to use mine but if I do I know I’ll be covered! :)

    I always purchase the Geek Squad protection on consumer electronics if the cost of the product is substantial, or if the protection provides for cleaning, replacement, etc. I have used Geek Squad protection a couple of times and was satisfied to receive a replacement product through the local store without having to wait for one to be shipped from a replacement service center, or having to wait for the non-functioning product to be evaluated.

    Honestly wasn't aware that the service came with the purchase. Have had some questions about situations with the TV. Have not followed up like I should. When I was asked to review Geek Squad so I called them. They were very helpful and offered to send someone to check out the problem. The Phone Geek and I decided we would make sure the problem wasn't with the cable network or box. We are working with Spectrum on the problem.

    Vizio failed after 4yrs unfortunately. Thankfully the warranty helped me out by getting store credit for my tv so not all is lost. Happy with the service!

    Well worth the money for this plan. A few years after buying the TV the picture went out.. Geek Squad came to the house in two days. Couldn’t fix the TV so they gave me a new replacement TV. No charge. I will also by their service..
