Better safe than sorry. Can't tell you how many times getting a warranty has saved me a ton of money.

I hooked it up myself but I like the idea that Geek Squad will fix the TV for 5 years if anything goes wrong with it.

ALL modern electronics should be under and Extended Service Plan. From TVs to Computers, and Smart Phones, it seems, these days, that electronic devices can fail at a moment's notice. I've always believed in protecting my purchases with Extended Service Plans, and Geek Squad's Service Plans are no exception; I HIGHLY recommend purchasing a Geek Squad protection plan for all sensitive electronics.

Came into store with a broken Dyson and I was back out of the store with product replaced in less than 30 minutes!

With my bad luck with electronics, I felt that I had no other choice but purchase a 5 year warranty.

The material is excellent. I highly recommend it and it looks very comfortable on the wall.

I purchased the 2-year Geek Squad Protection Plan thinking it would provide immediate coverage if something went wrong with my new TV. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. What they don’t tell you upfront is that if your product is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, Geek Squad won’t help you, they’ll just refer you back to the manufacturer. That means you’re really only getting about one year of coverage, not two, because Geek Squad won’t step in until the manufacturer’s warranty expires. To make things even more frustrating, if your TV is wall-mounted, Best Buy won’t unmount it for you unless you pay an additional $150 or hire someone else to do it before they’ll even assist you. So, even though you pay extra for “full protection,” it doesn’t actually feel like full protection at all. This experience feels misleading and like false advertising. When you buy a 2-year protection plan, you expect help anytime during those two years, not to be bounced between companies or charged extra just to start the replacement process. Customers deserve better transparency about what this plan actually covers and when it applies.

The agent explained the extended warranty to us in a very easy to understand way, and we bought it because of that. Often this information is confusing. His presentation was not. Good job overall!

I have used the warranty twice. I received excellent guidance and help each time. Service was on time and professional.

Make no mistake bout it...U Need 2 get it..we had a Lg HG, for3 yrs. Squad came to work on it, within a few minutes, after he left, had 2 call him back, 4 same thing. After 45 mins, he couldn't repair it. Went next day, got a brand new Lg..cost? 0. Love the geek squad protection! It offers a full protection package and in my opinion it is better than the TotalTech. If you're buying a big ticket item like a TV or any appliance, ask the customer service to cancel your TotalTech from this item and add the geek squad warranty instead. Your TV installation will still be covered because of your active TotalTech. What I don't like about TotalTech is that you have to pay a deductible on certain things... this is like an insurance now...

Haven’t had to use my Geek Squad team as of now. Love my new Samsung TV and sound bar!! Have used the squad years ago and it was as a simple easy process. Thanks Best Buy!!

The extra protection through geek swap squad was reasonable for the time covered.

I just got a 48" Lg B4 OLED TV. I decided to get the 5 year Geek Squad extended warranty, to just put my mind at ease. I thought that any repairs after the first year might be pretty expensive.

I bought it because the price was very reasonable. Hopefully I'll never need it. The true test of how good it is will be if I ever try to use it.

So far I've yet have to use this warranty. I believe they would do an excellent job if I'd ever have to.

Geek squad is impossible to cancel. I'm hoping I don't have to use it!

I have other products that the geek squad have fixed for me and I am happy with their service

I've purchased all of my electronics, appliances, and cameras from Best Buy. And I not purchase anythings within getting Geek Squad protection because it's the absolute BEST!!! 10/10 I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
