We purchased this just in case of technical issues or difficulties with our TV unit. Its better to have a back up on top of the limited warranty and I believe it is easier and convenient to schedule a service with the geek squad compared to the actual warranty company. At least that's what I heard from the actual agent as a tip of advice.

Worth having it, and you can get a pro-rated refund if you don’t need it anymore.

Worth every penny. They replaced my Vizio 58 inch TV, purchased in Nov 2020. After verifying it could not be fixed they offered me my choice of several comparable TVs. The whole process was quick and easy. All it cost was the price of a new 2yr protection plan.

Best chioce if you have kids in your home..they cover all major issues and breakage

I have always added extra protection on my televisions, but never had to use it. Just in case. I wish I had it on my gifted Hisense television.

I always get the Geek Squad protection on major purchases recently used it on an oven that we got 4 years ago and they tried to fix it but ultimately replaced it.

It's a must buy when I purchase an item with a high price. If anything goes wrong best buy will either fix the item or replace it with a similar item. So I always make sure I buy the extra protection. It saves me from frustration.

Been a customer of geek squad over 20 years, and they're quality has declined. Had a product go bad in 6 months and the price of the item doubled. They did not pro-rate my credit and gave me minimal options but to upgrade to a way more expensive item, even though i wanted a direct replacement or next comparable item for my warranty.

. I will also be purchasing the protection for gifts for my parents so they can also have the same piece of mind. I purchased this back up plan in connection with one of the TVs that I use for gaming and watching streaming movies It is great to know that I can have the peace of mind that my item will get fixed if there is a problem.
