    I have nothing but GOOD things to say about the Protection Plan!! I'm not guaranteeing this will happen for everyone but it sure worked for us! We bought the 5 year plan on our previous 75" TV and when there was about 4 months left on the plan I noticed dark lines coming down from the top of the screen. Geek Squad came to the house and decided the panel was going out. It was also determined that the due to the TV being almost 5 years old a new panel would not be available for replacement. We connected with the most awesome young lady who walked us through our options and she also researched a new TV for us. We decided to go with a 77" Sony OLED because she said it had very few problems with 'burn-in'. Here's the best part....the Protection Plan credited every single penny of our purchase 5 years prior and we were able to put it towards the Sony. You just couldn't ask for anything better than that! The Plan is not cheap but it paid us back 7 times value! Protect yourself with the plan. You may never have to use it but, if you do, you'll be glad you bought it.

    I already used this on my new TV because of stuck pixels. I didn't want to have to take the tv back for an exchange, so i called geek squad and they fixed the issue in less than 20 minutes!

    Geek Squad protection is FOUL...!!!! I was told that the protection plan would start after the manufacturers warranty ended. Samsung gives a Minimum of 1 year manufacturer warranty. So I purchase the 2 year Geek Squad protection for approximately $250.00. in July 31, 2020. Samsungs warranty ended July 31, 2021....therefor, by what I was told by the Best Buy sale person, my Geek Squad protection should start July 31, 2021 and end July 31, 2023. When I called best buy to claim my protection...because the TV has a defect with pixels going dead....lots of pixels, so the best buy rep told me the plan expired ...GET THIS....BECAUSE THE GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION STARTED THE SAME TIME SAMSUNGS WARRANTY STARTS. WHAT SINCE DOES THAT MAKE TO HAVE A PLAN GOING WHILE IT'S STILL UNDER WARRANTY. AS I WAS TOLD WHEN PURCHASING THE TV THAT IT WOULD START AFTER THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY ENDS. BEST BUY THAT'S NOT RIGHT..... AND THEY KNOW IT'S NOT RIGHT...and gave me the option to PAY $130 more dollars to have a diagnostic test of the TV.

    Best Warranty and Service in the Industry

    Best Buy (Geek Squad) honors their warranty. I've bought this warranty for each of my kids laptops when they go into college. I have one who tends to have issues with her machines. In every case, Best Buy has honored the warranty and fixed or replaced the machine. Awesome Job Geek Squad!

    Our 1 year old Insignia TV lost the picture. I was fortunate to have purchased the Geek Squad Protection. The technician came to the house, assessed the issue and ordered a part. He assured us that he would return the next week and install the new part. When he came back to install, the TV failed. He promptly said "You get a new TV". He gave us a voucher for a same/similar TV. We had to return the dead TV. We promptly went to the Best Buy store, turned in the dead TV with the components, and they directed us to the TV dept. We found the same TV, one year newer, and completed the transaction. When we brought it home and set it up, everything loaded up from the Amazon account, and we were able to enjoy the evening. We recommend the Geek Squad, they were very professional and very accommodating to our needs.

    This protection was helpful but not in all the ways i thought. Some items don't qualify and that's not what i thought when i purchased. Now i buy individual protection for each item, it's easier to understand. The services are pricy so i never sought them out.
