Warranties from factory only goes so long, extra protection needed

This is the first time I have ever purchased a protection plan for the purchase of a television. This allows me to sleep at night

It was disappointing to learn installation is no lnger part of Geek Swuad. This was intended to be a tabletop television so it did not matter for this purchase. However, I need a few wall mounted also and this new policy means I will be looking at price maybe re than service.

I bought a Sony TV on sale, purchased the 5 year warranty. TV went dead 15 months. Hoped for equivalent or same TV with a 3+ year unexpired warranty. Got my purchase price back, no extended warranty on unexpired warranty. So, to replace the TV, cost was $100 more, plus a new $60 warranty. On a $350 purchase, probably not a good idea.

Geek Squad what can I say, no hassles when returning or exchanging. Highly recommend!

This is a great buy because when your manufacturer warranty is gone you have a second option if they can't fix it you get another one.
