I wish I can give 0 stars. The worst experience I’ve EVER experienced with Best Buy and I always have them install stuff. The one guy was EXTREMELY RUDE!!! He didn’t do anything I put in my order and kept saying it wasn’t there. Then they didn’t even finish setting up my tv. If this the type of people they have working with them now I won’t be coming back! From the start to the end the man was Rude, rude, rude!!!! I asked for the cord to be hidden in the order, he said it wasn’t in there (in a snarky tone). I asked for the old tv to be relocated in the order. He said oh no I’ll have to charge you (again in a rude tone). He left without setting the tv up, but honestly I didn’t want his negative rude self in my house any longer anyways. Never again!!!

It’s a great deal for protection in case anything happens to your devise during the first 5 years.

I had a 4.75 year old TV that died, it was not repairable but had a5 year service plan... Contacted BB Geek Squad, once determined status they put me in touch with a different team, in about 15 minutes they settled for the total cost of the broken TV (less service plan cost). I used that money too heavily discount the replacement TV. Very happy with the whole experience.

I bought the coverage for my open box TV. I haven't had to use it, but I suppose the peace of mind is worth the price.

I mean its a must, if you buy somethint for a $1,000 don't you want to have some sort of coverage on it?

I've only had to use the geek squad a couple of times. And each time they we very helpful.

I buy the geek squad warranty when it makes the most sense, usually when I spend a significant amount of money, and the manufacturer warranty is only one year.

Diagnosed and fixed the issue in about 10-14 days. Much better than using manufacturer. It's about the people, so a big thanks to the technicians. If BB didn't have this, I would buy from another online retailer.

Bought the TV in 2019. Power board failed and replaced in 2020. With warranty still left in 2024 the TV fails again and they tell me it possibly won’t be covered/will be junked. What’s the purpose of the warranty???

The agent I talked to was very helpful and took care of everything. I was very happy to find I was actually able to get a new replacement TV at no cost. I only had to purchase a new Geek Squad protection plan.

I always purchase the Geek Squad protection plans. They always come through and take care of my needs.

Would not purchase an expense item without having a extended warranty and the price was right.

The geek squad is so helpful when you have technical issues or defective devices. They are so reliable and competent with their knowledge and expertise. This is the best thing to have to bring you comfort in knowing if anything goes wrong, you are covered fir immediate repairs.

Customer service is phenomenal. The tv is perfectly set up. Highly recommend.

Always a must hands down. Never bought a single tv witjout this and its saved me nore times than i can count

Purchased this warranty with my son's 43 inch Insignia tv. His tv went out within a year of purchase, and after I contacted customer service to let them know they did honor my warranty but let me know since I was getting a new item I would have to repurchase the warranty.

I have not use it and I hope I wont use it but I read that they are great.
