Great value if you can’t afford to replace the tv. I’ve never had to use geek squad. The policy goes into effect after one year of purchase. Sometimes dealing with Sony or lg isn’t the best experience. Depending on how big your tv is you might value the in home service.

So easy and worth it! 5 year protection plan on a Hi Sense tv, it lasted about 4. 2 phone calls and 3 days later, brand new TV delovered to my door and they hauled away the old.

Worth every penny. I had an HDMI port go bad in my LG C1 they came to the house replaced the entire board within 30 minutes and did not cost me anything extra. The service guys were excellent and friendly. Highly recommend when making expensive purchases.

The geek squad was called out our vacation camping area to diagnose and solve a problem that I was having getting my newly purchased television connected up in my Airstream trailer.
