Getting a hold of someone to help is a chore. Within a month of buying our new TV set it started acting up. When you call for assistance you’re calling out if the country. I don’t care about that , it’s just that when you can’t understand the person you’re taking to and your request to be transferred to The USA and get ignored, that’s frustrating . I believe the person on the other end is trying to help but then refusing my request is disrespectful . I went to the Best Buy near me and they would not take a service request, they said I had to call it in.

I always put extended warranty on all of my electronical devices.

This is the first time use of Geek squad for a defective TV. Absolutely awesome warranty support. Calling customer service was easy, was connected to a live person not a computer within a matter of minutes. An appointment was set up and a Geek squad member came down within a week to adjust the issue. Within 48 hours of issue in the system, my issue was resolved immediately. He wasn't fortunate that my TV was not repaired, but with a 5-year extended warranty, I was able to get a gift card as an exchange for my broken TV, and again ordered a brand new TV online and delivered to my house within week.

Geek squad is nice to have when it is needed. Havent needed it yet.

Never hurts to have if something goes wrong and the chat is great

The Geek Squad is the only way to go. So helpful you really need to purchase the protection. My last TV died at only one year old. I received full credit on my purchase price. Don't leave the store without it :)

I like having the insurance protection on my devices to ensure quick, easy repairs or replacement if needed

If you are going to buy any Electronics from Best Buy always get the insurance 5 years insurance is the best I have a TV to break down on me and I thought about it and I remember I had the warranty thinking that they wouldn't help me gave them a call and they helped me out and just two days with a brand new TV yes this is worth it

This was a good buy for price it’s great the image is beautiful the only problem is the smart tv part. Thought it was the batteries placed name brand batteries. And the tv remote still lags in allowing you to go through apps to pick what you wish to stream.

Help my grandma set up her TV over the phone in under 5 min. when she could barely turn the last one on.

I had trouble with my last tv--thank goodness I had Geek Squad protections. They came out and fixed it at no cost. I was glad I did it!

So far so good but again you have to have patients with the geek squad, they will meet your need, but they take too long.
