    Warranty for TV

    hopefully i never have to use the warranty. Bought it for LG OLED CX 55" TV. My first OLED, B6P 55" had burn in right before 3 years. Amazon's crappy warranty would not do anything about it. LG ended up replacing the panel for free under the 3 year manufacture warranty. the CX model is 4 years newer and has better burn in retention prevention. If it burns in before 5 years, the warranty should cover fixing or replacement of the tv.

    I'm so glad best buy offers warranty on their items. I always purchase the extra warranty and dont have any complaints. On my last tv purchase, i had to use the warranty because the tv started to have issues. Long story short the part did not fix the issue and the tv was no longer being sold so i got a partial credit for the tv. Something is better than nothing and this was after the 12 months but still within the 2 year warranty.

    It's always good to be able to call someone in when things go wrong. The last time I had a TV just break with seemingly no fix, the technician spent almost a week trying to fix it before I was provided with a replacement. I have always purchased coverage any time I buy a TV from best buy because of that.

    It has saved my peasant existence of a life from spending an absurd amount of money for any product. Between defects, wear and tear over time, or bad products overall, the warranty has been very helpful. Between getting my money back, exhanging, or getting store credit, it honestly is one of the only reasons why I even shop at Best Buy.

    The agents were top notch. They arrived early, installed the mounting bracket beautifully and installed our new 85" tv. They reconnected all associated components. They were friendly and professional, cleaned up all packing materials, and reviewed all applicable operating instructions. These folks are awesome.

    ALWAYS Get The 5-Year On ATV

    Just lost my TV after 4 1/2 years. They gave me back ALL my money in credit to put towards a new TV. The Upgrade is 5 times better TV, and with a $1000 credit, I only spent $1400....yes, I bought a top of the line OLED...that's why it was $2400, but affordable with the $1000 credit. This is the 2nd time that has happened to me with a TV in the past 15 years, and both times I got ALL my money back in credit for a replacement. ALWAYS get the 5-year on a TV. Even if it lasts the whole 5 years, it will probably need a repair, and that alone more than covers the cost of the warranty.
