I've never had to use it but friends of mine have and they said that Geek Squad is awesome

I know people look at warranties as a way for companies to gain more money from you, but I am a BIG fan of Best Buy's warranties. For one, why would you spend hundreds of dollars on a product and not cover it? You don't buy a car and not get insurance? I've had great luck with ALL of my electronics (knock on wood) but I still don't want to risk it. If I spend hundreds of dollars on a product, its an investment that I want to make sure is covered.

Hopefully we won't need to use this warranty but wanted to make sure we had it just in case.. I'm so tired of buying stuff they come with a 1 year warranty after the 1 year warranty they fall apart.

This is a great basic TV. I already had a sound bar and Roku, so I didn't need a Smart TV. The sound and picture are great and it was easy to set-up.

Nice to have the backup of a team that can handle all electronics issues

This time I did take Geek Squad protection for 5 years, (actually it’s 4 years cause they start counting same time as manufacturers warranty.)

Stress free, Knowing that i have a back up plan makes me wanna go back to the store and purchase more devices. Their warranty is worth it .

Over the years I have purchased many items from Best Buy. I purchased this plan for most of them. Thankfully, I haven't had to use it on too many of the items, but it was and is a good investment. Once I had a computer that needed replacement and there were occasions when I needed tech support for an item and received the help for free. I consider it a small price to pay for insurance that, like most insurance, comes in handy if you need it.

I do not buy extended warrantees as a rule, but for the great price of the 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection you cannot go wrong.

Just used my geek squad protection plan on my OLED LG TV. I had burn in on the screen because I purchased the extended warranty geek squad replaced the OLED Screen. I am so glad I bought the extended warranty otherwise I would be purchasing another tv.

Having the Geek Squad available makes things very convenient. Seniors especially would benefit by having Geek Squad Service because if you have challenges you can get help instead of being frustrated. Get the Squad!

Great product to have for those expensive items! Unfortunately we had to us it numerous times for our 70 in. 4K t.v. and had to swap out for a new set in just 4 months. With a bit of back and forth, was able to get the warranty prorated and transferred to the new set. Otherwise, the warranty is considered fulfilled once a new set comes into play. This part of the policy I do not agree with. Even so, I would still recommend it

I'm always questioning my self when I have to purchase protection for my large purchases. I purchased the protection to one of my TV's 3 years ago and my TV started to flicker. I called to get it service, however they could not fix it and my TV was replaced!!! You may not ever use the service but it sure was nice to have it when you need it.

An amazing computer!…I needed one for my son since he’s homeschooled…Best Buy and HP is my store and product brand for electronics for school…I highly recommend this product no issues…

I purchased one five years ago and my Television went bad 3 months before it was about to expire. I was given a full credit towards the purchase of a new television.

Excellent picture. Has all the apps needed to watch anything we want and with the service plan we know we will have a great tv for years to come should we run into problems

I had another T= that broke and I didn’t purchase the protection so I am not making that mistake again. I always purchase it for all my son gaming gear and it is phenomenal. I get a replacement immediately with no hassle. It is so worth it
