I had a Samsung 50" 1080p TV that went out and was non-repairable after 15 months. I replaced it with a Samsung 50" 4K TV and decided that it would be good to have a backup plan, so I bought the 5 year Service Policy when I bought the new TV. I didn't want to feel cheated by Samsung again and I know that the Geek Squad and Best Buy will back up the product.

The service and follow up are very good. This is a much better alternative to square trade. The 2 year plan is essentially worth one extra year after the factory warranty expires. But no extensive calls with the manufacturer that will leave you exhausted and angry. The Geek Squad experience I had with my TV was a piece of cake.

Geek Squad product protection plans are a MUST! It's great having the this plan because accidents happen! The Squad is always knowledgeable as well. I always buy a protection plan with items I purchase from Best Buy. It's such a great service offered!

I love this. I feel like I can trust this and feel confident in my tvs longevity.

I got the 5 year standard greek squad protection plan for my 55 inc 4k smart tv for $120 which I feel was a good deal because I had another tv without the plan and the main frame on it went bad and I tried to put it in the shop and they wanted $300 to fix it. Where now paying $120 for the plan and they will fix anything so I think that's a no brainer.

Any problems with my TV'S and I just bring it in and pick out a new one... no questions asked....

Geek squad is always good to have if I can insurance on your TV. It’s always nice and it eases your mind knowing you have insurance on your TV or your appliances.

Dont buy from best buy!!!! They used to be good my TV messed up and we called them cause they can be fickle on what they do and say. Ive returned tvs for store credit before to get another brand cause the one i had has issues. This time I asked about it and they said i would have to have it brought in then sent off for repair. Or someone come to my house ive had people steal from me before i do not let people in my house. I told them that I wanted to do a warranty and then was going to buy a more expensive tv. They told me that i could not do that then transfered me to a supervisor who said yes it would be ok let me get you to another department. That next department pretty much told us to send it in or nothing at all. So like normal fashion with best buy its up to if they feel like letting you do it or not. I just had swapped out a bad router for a better one and guy at register said yes you can do this. But about a month or 2 later they wont let me exchange my tv? It has panel issues I spend most of my time at home due to not being able to work cause of a back injury so if i have to send my tv back for repair i will have no way of watching tv. But its cool i wont be buying from best buy anymore and i have slowed down over the years buying from them i was an elite member spending over 7k a year with them but as i said no more.

Well its geek squad. I don't buy anything with out it. Always been able to work any issues with the items i have protected by GeekSquad. Excellent service.

Highly recommend getting extended warranty for every purchase. Came in handy when TV stopped working.

Great affordable TV, its very sleek, works great and its pretty big. Overall happy with the purchase, also it was extremely easy to install.

Don't give costly repairs a chance and buy this warranty to protect your product

The geek squad protection is something that is a must for an expensive appliance. I brought one for my sony tv and it crapped out in 1 year and they gave me my money back. I am going to buy it again. Deciding if i will buy another sony...

I had to geek squad on my 65 inch color TV in my computers. They were good anytime I bought a back I had a problem somebody came out no problem. Thank you Best Buy.
