    With this price and size of TV, From my personal experience would only by the 5 year plan. My last large size TV, albeit a different brand, went bad I literally the week after the 3 year extra warranty expired.

    I'm so old I remember when a TV repair man would come to the house to replace vital tubes in the set (in the 50s and 60s). But in this day and age one should really buy this protection, like it or not. I have had great service through Best Buy when I have used this service.

    It’s been ok. They deff are helpful. I had a replacement remote ordered but it was the wrong remote. Hopefully they will fix this soon

    I buy Geek Squad protection on all my major purchases at Best Buy. It is well worth the price. Got the five year plan for my new Samsung Q80A television. Nice to know my purchase is protected.

    I've had Geed Squad help for several years, but now am a Total Tech Support Subscriber. It is well worth the money, as we have A LOT of Best Buy devices in our home :). The Geek Squad technicians are always helpful!

    I will NEVER own an electronic device without Geek Squad. In more than one instance I have had devices quick working and they were completely replaced because of Geek Squad. Help with set up or issues is also AMAZING!

    Dont buy from best buy!!!! They used to be good my TV messed up and we called them cause they can be fickle on what they do and say. Ive returned tvs for store credit before to get another brand cause the one i had has issues. This time I asked about it and they said i would have to have it brought in then sent off for repair. Or someone come to my house ive had people steal from me before i do not let people in my house. I told them that I wanted to do a warranty and then was going to buy a more expensive tv. They told me that i could not do that then transfered me to a supervisor who said yes it would be ok let me get you to another department. That next department pretty much told us to send it in or nothing at all. So like normal fashion with best buy its up to if they feel like letting you do it or not. I just had swapped out a bad router for a better one and guy at register said yes you can do this. But about a month or 2 later they wont let me exchange my tv? It has panel issues I spend most of my time at home due to not being able to work cause of a back injury so if i have to send my tv back for repair i will have no way of watching tv. But its cool i wont be buying from best buy anymore and i have slowed down over the years buying from them i was an elite member spending over 7k a year with them but as i said no more.

    This was a must have with my purchase because I brought a T.V (insignia brand)from Target and it lost brightness , I didn't purchase insurance but I did have proof of Purchase and they couldn't do anything for me and I had the Television for about 4years.I was so hurt because the T.V looks brand new.I learned my lesson so I made sure with this purchase I had insurance added.

    Burn in protection

    I bought a LG C1 48” and don’t have to worry about Burn in with this warranty. Best Buy is the only company to cover Burn in on OLED tvs

    Our TV died within 2 years. They told us it couldn't be fixed but because we had purchased this plan, they replaced our TV. They gave us a full purchase price refund which we put toward a newer model. The plan actually does what it says and BestBuy stands behind it.
