Dont buy from best buy!!!! They used to be good my TV messed up and we called them cause they can be fickle on what they do and say. Ive returned tvs for store credit before to get another brand cause the one i had has issues. This time I asked about it and they said i would have to have it brought in then sent off for repair. Or someone come to my house ive had people steal from me before i do not let people in my house. I told them that I wanted to do a warranty and then was going to buy a more expensive tv. They told me that i could not do that then transfered me to a supervisor who said yes it would be ok let me get you to another department. That next department pretty much told us to send it in or nothing at all. So like normal fashion with best buy its up to if they feel like letting you do it or not. I just had swapped out a bad router for a better one and guy at register said yes you can do this. But about a month or 2 later they wont let me exchange my tv? It has panel issues I spend most of my time at home due to not being able to work cause of a back injury so if i have to send my tv back for repair i will have no way of watching tv. But its cool i wont be buying from best buy anymore and i have slowed down over the years buying from them i was an elite member spending over 7k a year with them but as i said no more.

I haven't had to use this protection plan yet. But I've used it for other products and it's easy to use and worth every single penny when it comes to electronics that may not last beyond a year or two.

Glad that I got geek squad because anything that I never had a warranty on for usually goes out but I have had my TV for a while no problem so I hope it not any problems but if I do I have the crap

Definitely worth it. I definitely want to make sure that my tv is covered for a good amount of years because you never know what could happen. Best Buy had the longest coverage for my tv so I bought it here.

If buying a flatscreen highly recommend this service contract as repair components can get pricey. Used this once; set broke about a month before contract expired and it was fully honored. Set fixed so very happy with it.

Ive used geek squad before and will definitely use it again. Any issues i have they are very informative and nice. I can get confused sometimes but they are very patient with my lack of knowledge.

Television works fine and I am satisfied with the performance.

This tv works great and has a clear picture, I bought it for my brother and he is very happy with it.

I haven't had to use it yet because the product is new/working beautifully. However, I love that the option is there and it really helped to "seal the deal" for me. Feels great to have the security.

Having the Geek Squad protection for your TV & computer is like having AAA for your car. I would never leave home without it. There have been many occasions when I have contacted the Geek Squad to clear up something. They are very supportive & helpful and always available.

Took a chance when this TV went on sale and wondered why, Well happy to say I have had no complaints so for and what a great pic with so much detail, Not a lot of 4K out there yet but the up-scaling from even standard DVD and Blue ray is really good. Great pic and easy to use tv

I learned something about Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection recently. It's only good for one-time repair, or replacement. I presumed (in error, apparently), that my 2, 3, or 5-year protection, covered me for the duration of the stated period. In a recent transaction, where a TV required replacement, I learned differently. Advice: Pay close attention to your return policy; the date of purchase (even if paid for at the end of a business day, or at closing) counts as ONE day! Also, be sure any discounts (price-matching, sales, Reward Certificates...) are taken before you pay for protection, as the final cost of the item determines (within preset ranges) the cost of protection for a given period. As to whether, or not, I'd recommend this option to a friend, I'd suggest buyer beware, or just "be aware", and be informed.

Even with getting a smaller TV for the Spare room we still bought this extended coverage! It truly makes sense, with the Smart Tv's there could be glitches, that's computer life! So this allows the Geek Squad to work there magic if anything happens!

If I could sing a song about getting a protection plan, thats exactly what I'd do.
