Haven't had to use it yet but seemed like a good value. I did actually hear good things about them and it doesn't hurt to have extended warranty.

You cannot buy any large items without extended warranty. Everything breaks

Best Buy product protection is the best! You get service locally if you need it ... unlike a warranty I had for another TV that I bought elsewhere and for which I actually had to pay something like $35 to ship away to get it replaced

Glad i bought this bc when my husband opened his Xmas gift the bottom of the screen from the inside came damaged and a little disappointing when it was an expensive buy.
