I decided to hold off purchasing larger, more expensive TV and wait for latest technology (4K, Curved TV, OLED) to evolve and prices drop. Based on that criteria Brandon from Best Buy pointed me to Samsung's top of line 1080p as less costly alternative, and am very happy with it. Only reason I didn't give a 5 rating, is the relatively poor speakers & sound (I later purchased a sound bar). Otherwise great picture, no motion refresh issues, along with excellent Best Buy sales and support.

[Employee of bestbuy] Worth it if you can afford it. I had a TV replaced after it broke down 4 years later. They were abke to help me fix my issue Bd provide me with a great solution.

I wouldn't buy a thing without The Geek Squad protection plan especially a big TV that hangs on the wall.

The geek squad protection is something that is a must for an expensive appliance. I brought one for my sony tv and it crapped out in 1 year and they gave me my money back. I am going to buy it again. Deciding if i will buy another sony...

It is a must unless you are a computer guru yourself. I have used them multiple times fir some minor glitches with new computer. They are available if you call at less busy times of the day and know what they are doing to get your computer running as it should again.

The extra protection is work it, the unexpected can always happen..

I will see if I get any use out of this. I guess protecting a new tv is worth it in the long run.

I have not had to use this protection as of yet however, I am sure they will take pretty good care of my product.

Got this for piece of mind. Hope I don't ever have to use it but have it just incase. Why not when you spend almost $2k on a TV, you want that extra coverage
