For most products I don't buy extended warranties or insurance. The price of the insurance is usually high enough that you might get a new appliance or device cheaply enough to take the risk. But for big screens and computers I get protection to protect me from the hassle of a dead on arrival unit or dead pixels or accidental damage. It is not just the unit price, but the reduction in time required to navigate the replacement that I am insuring.

I’ve learned just buy the extra warranty, the way things are made nowadays but yet are double the price warrants the protection. I’ve been victim too many times.

I was very excited when the agent told me that am qualified for new TV and I will also get a refund for the difference in price.

Usually I will always add the geek squad warranty. It has paid off many times. Especially on my gaming keyboards and fitness watches.

If any Trouble come out on my new sony tv i give them call & set up appointment to check it out whatever issue.

I buy warranties on all my electronics. If best buy ever got rid of the geek squad warranty id likely never buy another tv from there. But super satisfied

I've used this on 2 previous Samsung TVs. All went out at the 2 year mark(both replaced by Geek Squad). Purchased a Sony OLED with 5 year protection and already passed the 2 year mark so all is good!

Geek squad is the thing to buy if you are buying electronic products from Best Buy. It gives you piece of mind. Less hassle and great customer satisfaction. I never had any problem whatsoever but would love to see quick phone connection when I dial customer support.

We've had the television for a bit over 1 month and so far are extremely happy with it. The picture is beautiful. It communicates well with our computer so we can use EyeTV to create a mirror image. The only thing that could be a problem is that there are no controls on the TV so you do not want to lose the remote or run out of batteries.

We purchased our five year protection plan. We had one on our last computer and were very glad we did so. No problem getting service from friendly staff.

The lady that helped me purchase my TV took her time didn't rush or push me answered all my questions and went above and beyond anything I could have asked for.

I am so glad I purchased this television. The picture quality is just beautiful. I tell all my friends and family about this television. It is so easy to get to everything you want to watch because it is all at the bottom of your screen instead of having to scroll all over the place. It is the best purchase I have ever made!! Geek squad warranties always a good choice for me. I’ve purchased a warranty on almost everything electronic I buy and have only had to use it once. Excellent quality and service! Spend the extra money. It’s worth it because you never know.

I like it, I just hate that I can't bring it directly to the store.
