I purchased the protection for a TV I bought. I went in the store yesterday spoke with a manager. I made her aware of the situation. She told me the geek squad protection covers for power surges. I told her a power surge caused the TV and the room to catch on fire. I made her aware the TV was not repairable. She told me to bring the TV in it was covered. I brought the TV in today, spoke with a different manager that made me aware it wasn't covered. He stated the protection does cover for a power surge , but because of the shape the TV is in the can't return it. I am totally disappointed. I drove 30 minutes there wasting my time.

I love this added item to protect my TV and give me piece of mind. Price is reasonable considering it is a 5 year protection

Always buy my extended warranty from geek squad. I have used it 4 times throughout the years. Especially it covers burn ins in OLED TV’s.

The geek squad protection is highly recommended. You call for a reservation or drop in the store for one. The customer service is superb.

I was able to set the tv up on my own but I did call and ask a few questions over the phone and got the help I needed and was watching tv I no time

This service plan came in very useful, as our device started to malfunction while under warranty. They took care of it quickly!

The agents answered my questions are directed to a separate person for more or additional help. They have helped me with my computer, and printer.

I suggest you get this for any product you buy it will definitely come in handy if something happens to ur devices

Can't go wrong with purchasing additional insurance for your product. No need to send to the manufacturer. Just return to BBY and no hassles.

Haven’t had to use it. Can’t go wrong with a little extra protection though.
