I usually never get a protection plan, but I randomly agreed to this one. Nearly two years after purchasing a TV, it broke. It took a few weeks to go through the process of replacing the TV, but that's probably more to do with current events than it is Geek Squad support's abilities. I got a full refund and used that money to upgrade the TV. I'm fully satisfied.

Awesome tv, very bright and colorful. Easy manageable operating system.

Thank God I have not had to use the insurance but on other occasions I have used it with other items and it has been a blessing

I chose to purchase the protection agreement when I bought my TV for peace of mindand the fact that if it breaks it will be repaired or replaced. I'm always questioning my self when I have to purchase protection for my large purchases. I purchased the protection to one of my TV's 3 years ago and my TV started to flicker. I called to get it service, however they could not fix it and my TV was replaced!!! You may not ever use the service but it sure was nice to have it when you need it.

5 Year Protection Plan is excellent and delivers as promised. My old TV, with a 5 year service plan died after 4 years and the service plan replaced the TV with a new TV.....very satisfied.

Peace of mind knowing ai have geek squad protection! My last TV i bought went out with one month remaining on my two year protection plan i purchased. So this was an easy choice to get a five year protection plan. It's the peace of mind. Best Buy is also the only company to cover burn in on an OLED TV if burn in is a concern.

I liked the 50 inch display and audio quality. Got this one for $419 which wasn’t a good deal for Blackfriday. Kept looking and found similar Samsung 4K UHD with HDR 58 inch for $449 which was a great deal for Cyber Monday. I didn’t find much difference between 6 series and 7 series. So replaced this one with 58 inch 6 series which was a really great deal for me. I loved playing ps4 games in this bigger screen.

I have exchanged tjings that was damaged and lost. They honored the protection plan and i got a new replacement.

We didn't want any liability for our new Sony 75" TV set failing under Sony's or Best Buy's warranty. And given that we had the Geek Squad do the installation, it was a no brainer to have the Best Buy warranty. Even if nothing fails, its better insurance than we have for hurricane damage on the house!
