I was able to set the tv up on my own but I did call and ask a few questions over the phone and got the help I needed and was watching tv I no time

I typically don't buy extended warranties; however, because of so many brown outs and power outages, I made sure to get this coverage in addition to a battery back up UPS unit. It is well worth it.

Now days with technology constantly changing these protection plans are nearly a necessity. Most all of my purchases include a protection plan. Unlike 20 years ago the "Geek Squad" know what they are doing.

Extended warranty for Sony 950g just makes sense in case anything goes wrong with it because you don't want to lug a 65" tv to the store or repair center.

I bought to protect my TV. Had problems before with Walmart tvs and the value was too good to pass up for that just in case situation!
