I always purchase protection because it's there just in case you need it!!! It's the kind of insurance you don't want to be without. It's reasonable and after 3 years or so you will be in a better position to get you another one.

Always A must have with your Electronics purchase Best Buy has the Best GEEK SQUAD Technicians around if u ever have any troubles make sure u buy the 5 Yr proection a must have that way anything goes wrong your covered.

I think the protection plans are best because they cover everything and geek squad doesn’t cover certain things on your tv so get the protection plan covers everything!

Never had a problem with geek squad I always get it because you never know we could go wrong with electronics

I brought it home easy out of the box and all that was to assemble was the feet on the TV

Definity worth it, have used 2 times so far and had no hassle tv replacements while still covered.

Geek squad has helped fix an issue with the buttons on my tv I'm happy i bought the 2 year warranty for my device.

While I normally don't buy extended warranties this TV was going to be used in a storage unit to display video feed from my security cameras. It was fairly inexpensive and worth the price.

I’ve had the geek squad before it’s a great plan. Anything over $25 I usually put a plan on. You never know I’m gonna happen and they’re always good when you need something.

I'm finally writing a review for this tv. I had a thunderstorm about a few months after purchase and the quality of the tv hasn't been the same. I reached out to best buy to come fix my tv and just like most of you said, I had to contact Hisense to come out. because of the Manufacture first year warranty. Three tv specialist have been to my home and nothing has changed. The picture isn't sharp/clear at all anymore. I was told that I have to deal with this tv until after the one-year warranty is over. I couldn't believe I had to wait this long to enjoy my tv. Withing this timeframe I went back to best buy and brought another 85-inch tv which I'm happy with. I agree with one of you said, why did I pay for a 5-year warranty when it really a 4-year warranty? My one year is coming up, and I hope best buy can take care of their loyal customers. But I wouldn't recommend this tv for anyone. The worst tv I ever brought.

My Sony TV went out I had a 5-year contract it took 27 days to fix it without a TV it pretty well sucked so just remember if you purchase this warranty you will be in the same boat as I was

Added the protection while purchasing new tv. Hopefully will not be needed. Have had bad experiences with 2 tvs in the past 5 years, thus the added protection.

Haven't had to use it yet but the claimed support problems are great and like the convenience of dealing with them through bestbuy. I'll update the review of I ever end up using this warranty for tv repair over time. Reasonable price for 3 yrs of coverage.

I purchased the 5 year plan. When researching OLED TVs, burn in seemed to be something that many prolly mentioned was a possibility. I went with Best Buy in the end because if their great warranty that covers burn in. It was a no brainer really.
