Purchase the 5-year warranty because it was priced well. Geek squad is awesome but I hope I don't have to use them lol.

I just love Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection Plan. I never have a hassle when needing to return something. I don't even have to have the receipt. They just look-up my phone number and find everything they need.

Don't want to have one component go south and leave your whole setup in a lurch, right? Your best bet is to just throw money at the protection plan for each item. Worst case scenario you'll never need it and curse this review for making you spend extra money, but in a pinch? You'll be grateful.

I replaced an older 50 inch Plasma TV with this Sony 55 inch and was completely amazed at the contrast, sharpness, and color brilliance of this TV. Even my Lady Friend enjoyed it that evening I installed it. The installation was easy as well considering how light it is. Now all I have to do is find more time to watch it!!!

I haven’t used it yet but in my opinion, it is a must-have.

Joshua from the Geek Squad installed a Bestbuy swivel TV stand and our new LG TV to all our devices and gave us an excellent overview of the operation of our new TV. We highly recommend getting a Geek Squad service plan.

Absolutely worth it if you purchase an OLED TV. One of the few warranties that covers OLED burn in, which is still a thing and well worth protection on an LG CX OLED.

Great visual quality plex has some issues unfortunately and the lack of game streaming apps is felt.

Warrarnty is $ well spent. Ive gotten multiple warranties from best buy and had to use a few times. Definitely worth it

Fortunately I have not had to use this particular purchase but have used it on two previous TVs purchased from Best Buy and it was simple and trouble free.

I have opted to take additional Geek Squad Protection on most appliances. A few years ago I bought a dishwasher that kept breaking down. Thankfully the Protection plan made it simple to get it fixed. And after the third problem, they replaced the unit without any hassle. The protection plan more than paid for itself.

Have not used yet but will definitely enjoy if i ever need it

When I purchased my tv I had to get protection.If you really care about your tv and want to use it without thinking about any damaged not being covered .Then this is the plan you need and have a peace of mind .Enjoying my tv to the Max

Insurance or additional Protection is always a good thing to have, makes for Carefree Viewing of Sports, Movies & Drama

I always try to purchase geek squad protection for all my big purchase at best buy and they have not failed me. and it gives me peace of mind knowing my items will be fixed or replaced if anything were to happen.

the squad were able to replace my tv without issue. the squad removed the old tv, hooked up the new tv, and connected all of the other devices. very satisfied.
