It's always a good idea to get extra protection plans on anything that you don't want to buy twice because while the quality is great in most of the new technology, any mass produced items have a few flaws once in a while, quality control is really good nowadays but it's always smart to be sure, I've had a few things that I have had to do the warranty on and I was really happy to have it because the manufacturer warranty had expired. I will always get the warranty.

I was a little reluctant at 1st to spend $450 for a 5 year warranty for my Samsung - 85" Class Q70A Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV. After reading the customer reviews from the customers that didn’t purchase it really regretted not purchasing the warranty. I feel much more comfortable now that I purchased the warranty for my tv.

so far the best tv ever, the best beautiful picture I've seen in a television and the 55 inch is a great size.

Overall a great TV with a high quality image. Removed 1 star for a slightly awkward home screen and a remote that doesn't include a microphone to search for things via voice command.

I’m confused about the returned note… geek squad guys requested for the exchange of the tv… we end up getting a different tv and paid extra and that’s fine but was told we can’t transfer the protection we paid extra to this new tv… we paid for 5 yrs protection and it’s only over a year and problem arises..

Usually, I never get the extended warranties, but in today's age of electronics, its a sound investment.

I have learned if I only have to make one phone call for help it has paid for itself. I purchased a new TV for our bedroom, our first smart TV. Didn’t understand why I couldn’t get it hooked up and working. The geek squad tech talked me thru the setup. He was quickly able to tell me I was missing the correct cable between TV and box. He told me what part was required. Once I got that part (a whole different story and review) I was set up and watching TV in less than 15 minutes.

Whenever I make large electronic purchases, I always consider and usually purchase the optional Geek Squad Protection which is typically for at least 5 years. Most of the time, it has come in very handy with address issues with products like when our Whirlpool Washer we purchased in 2007 had numerous issues (never the same problem) over the years which Best Buy fixed each time. Do yourself a favor and consider getting this when making large purchases.

I've had two Samsung flat screens die at the 4 year mark. I had the 5 year warranty on the, First time it only cost me around $100 for a replacement. This time I switched to Sony and it cost me a couple hundred over the warranty refund. So I purchased the the 5 yr warranty on the Sony.

I love Best Buy, they have the best insurance policy for their products!

Thank goodness for the warranties makes the process of buying easier knowing you're back up by BB. This warranty protected me and got me a new tv cause my unit became defective.

I am hoping I don’t have to use the warranty. Having a minimum of 50 characters. In order to submit the survey is ridiculous. If there’s nothing wrong, I would think you wouldn’t want to have a drawn out explanation. That is annoying.
