not happy with this process at all i returned this item and the refund has still not shown up on my account and the person at the desk was just as rude when i explained this situation--still waiting the refund for this product the tv was already returned so i dont even have the product either

Really one of the worst experience! Spending $200 for total tech and this is what I got?? No one shows up on schedule! I was waiting for all day and I didn't get any proper solution nor updates!

I got an email saying my device protection was canceled by me..Best buy canceled my protection. I did not do this. They said i returned my tv and canceled my protection for the tv. I called and they said it was permanently canceled and nothing i can do about it. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, AWFUL PLACE...

Salesman sold me 5 year warranty, said it covered everything, guess what he lied, big surprise. After doing business with them for over 30 years I'm done!

As an IT technician with 20yrs experience in healthcare and federal gov't. I would never recommend Geek Squad for laptop or PC repair.

well, you got me on that one. never again. only covers warranty covered issues, no damage coverage. $130.00 wasted. enjoy it. no more.

I have the capabilities of mounting, or hooking up peripherals. A little over a year ago, after insulting my intelligence over a HP laptop that had a bad wi-fi receiver, and returning two weeks later with same issue,(HP made it Good) i would not recommend using them. This coverage was a freebie.

Absolutely terrible I went to return a TV that cracked and it was not my fault it was the employees will miss handling it and I didn’t even get my money back I’m very very upset

Do not be mislead by BestBuy as this “Standard” does not cover damage of any kind, even if they say it does. It’s a lie Read the “real” reviews

My Geek Squad guy was great... just the protection is worthless. TV arrived damaged.. Best Buy wont swap it out.. Geek Squad wont fix it..

they are not like other service. be ware of long wait time. ugh

I only purchased this plan because I was told it would take effect after the so called 1 yr warranty on the TV. Was not told the truth because 2yrs and 1 month later when my ethernet connection went bad, I was told out of warranty.

They should only get zero stars. They stood me up, their call center disconnected multiple calls, then said they did not have any opening for repair. They said they would call me back in 24-48 hours, which they have not. It has been 5 days! The warranty was a BIG WASTE OF MONEY!

Waste of money to buy warrantee for a TV. In my experience the tv always out lives the warrantee

These is no point in getting insurance on a tv if there is no replacement for screen cracks or water damage it’s a waste of your money honestly. The geek squad was no help with warranty on merchandise

Not worth getting. I thought this covered accidental damage but it doesn’t. Nothing you get from this you couldn’t get by registering your product with the manufacturer

They scammed me. I bought insurance on a tv priced at 1200 and the insurance will only cover a tv for up to 800
