So worth it. This was on my parents old TV I bought them. TV was about 4 year old and started getting dark spots. Geek squad had me send pictures and approved replacement. They came out and delivered the new TV and removed the old. Would always suggest either the individual plan or the plan that covers all purchases, both are a good value

I am so grateful that I got this 5-year Best Buy geek squad because my TV started faltering after about 4 and 1/2 years and I called Best Buy and they replaced it immediately with a better TV

Great sound and picture quality easy to set up and use.

We have had 2 use this feature 1 time on a vacuum and i have to say, the simplicity of replacement is worth the price. Our 1,5 year old Dyson gave up the ghost and we had to tap our 2 year coverage we added. All i had to do is drive down to the store and pick up a brand new Dyson. Done. Can't ask for more.

I have not had to use this yet, so can't really say how it works. Glad to not have any issues requiring the extra protection. 5 stars for ease of purchase.

I recently started having a screen issue with a TV I purchased from Best Buy; I had also purchased the Geek Squad Protection Plan. My TV was still within the extended Geek Squad warranty period. Honestly, I expected a major hassle trying to get my TV repaired/replaced. However, within a couple days Geek Squad determined my TV could not be repaired, offered almost the entire original purchase price, and applied it to a new TV of my choosing. The process was seamless and efficient, and I could not be happier! Needless to say, I once again purchased the Geek Squad Protection Plan for my new TV.

Great value to have for a item of electronics for your house

So far so good!!! Haven't had to use it yet, but for the price, is great peace of mind!!!

This protection is very important to me because if a tv is damaged Best buy can replace it, for me it's a good idea

…. but my computer isn’t finished as I’m waiting on a warranty claim on a brand new motherboard. Long story on that.. I have been using it for an xbox one my room mate had laying around. The picture and clarity is great and it certainly seems faster than the older xbox. I turned the color ip 5 and it is good, the blacks are great, and it is more than bright enough for any use I’ve had. I don’t find the glare particularly bad. I’m not really much of a TV person and didn’t own one before this (lije I said, I got it as a monitor) but I’ve enjiyed watching some stuff I would have used my phone for before. There is no crunchyroll app, but airplay was easy enough.

I will never buy my electronic from any place else. They price match.

I bought a TV that started flickering and having major screen issues right after the manufacturer’s warranty expired (of course). I took it back to the store and hey we’re able to send it out because I bought the extra coverage. It took a couple of weeks to diagnose but they contacted me today to tell me that they’re refunding me (in the form of a gift card) what I paid for the TV to put towards any purchase from Best Buy. This is why I buy extended/ enhanced warranties on most electronics. Most of these companies that administer these warranties are very reputable and honor claims that fall within the parameters of the coverage. Most people have unreasonable expectations and suffer from a sense of entitlement the size of a house and therefore claim that these types of coverage are “scams” or “Rip offs” because they fail to take a moment to actually find out what is covered and how the claims procedures work. Frank Zappa once said “Stupidity has a certain charm. Ignorance does not.” Nowhere is that more true than the world of the entitled consumer. Buy the warranty or don’t complain because almost all electronics these days are designed to fail.

I absolutely love this tv. The quality on it is out of this world, It’s super bright and supports Dolby Vision and Atmos. It has all kinds of features and it looks modern with the slim bezels. The QLED brings out a perfect picture and the only complaint I would have is the “ghosting” when watching fast motion content.

I hope to never need this service, but if I do, it is nice to know that I don't have to haul the TV in for service, it will be repaired in my own home!

I've purchased all of my electronics, appliances, and cameras from Best Buy. I do not purchase anythings within getting Geek Squad protection because it's the absolute BEST!!! I actually use the Geek Squad protection on this TV. This TV was my replacement. Filing a claim and delivery was quick and easy! 10/10 I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

I've luckily only had to use the replacement plan a few times, but the times I have were a lifesaver. The first major time I had to use Geek Squad was on a fairly pricy monitor I bought. Less than a few months later it decided to spontaneously burn/break mid project. That same day I got it swapped. Not a few weeks later the exact same issue happened. This time it was easy enough to get a credit towards a new monitor that has served me well. Without it there definitely would've been more difficulty. I've also had issues with my TV but I bought the protection plan. At first I thought it was just a remote issue. Got that replaced no issues. A few weeks later it turns out there was a defective memory issue in my TV so I called and was promptly given compensation.
