While warranties themselves are a total cash grab by every company ever, when buying a brand new TV thats $1000+, you'll thank yourself for getting this warranty. I got a 5 year warranty on my 65 LG CX. It covers burn in and will replace the device if anything goes wrong until 2025. Even if nothing goes wrong, that piece of mind is worth it for a $2000 television. No other warranty on the market covers burn in for OLED tvs. And I wouldnt buy a single year play let alone a 5 year plan from anywhere else.

I have purchased 3 TV through Best Buy and no longer need Geek Squad to mount or hook up my Items They are very good at hooking up or fixing your Products and with the price of the Geek squad Service I am purchaseing any product that saves me Lots of money

I usually do not add any service protection to products I buy. This time I did. Best Buy offered a 2-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection: for $89.99. This seems very reasonable if anything should go wrong with my television once the manufacturer’s warranty expires.

I only gave it five stars because I didn't want to give it a bad mark. We can't know how well Geek Squad is until we have a problem. So what else is there to say? Why would you ask about your Geek Squad service on a product we just bought? Expecting us to have to use it? Rating the Geek Squad at this point doesn't mean a thing.

We bought this plan again with our TV. It saved us about $800

Customer service is absolutely horrible, especially when combined with best buy customer service. I purchased protection plan on a tv from best buy, said tv stopped working. I have been waiting on a replacement tv going on 3 months now, everytime they schedual an appointment to bring a tv and I change my daily plan to accommodate it they send a text telling me I have to reschedule. That in itself takes 20 to 30 minutes. My customer satisfaction with geek squad AND best buy is ZERO. I will not ever purchase anything from either again.

Worth every penny. The Geek Squad folks are great at diagnosing the problem and walking you through fixing it either through online chat or by phone. If you have to take the item in for repair, they offer convenient appointments.

Its well worth it. Bought as a Christmas gift for my gandkids

A week prior to getting the protection i was offered it at the time of purchase and i got an extremely cheap open box 4k sony tv and the price of it brand new was $2500, the open box item i was buying was $700 and at the time our purchase they wanted to charge me the protection of a $2500 tv which came out to $550 for 5 years protection, so i went in a week later and a young man helped me get it figured out and I got the protection for the price that I had actually paid for and I was very very satisfied!!!!

Haven't had to use it yet, however I have never had an issue with using warrany services with Bedt Buy!!
