Better to be safe than sorry. Five year warranty for peace of mind.

I haven't had a need to use it yet, but definitely would recommend just for peace of mind when purchasing anything tech-wise

I bought 2 years of Geek Squad Protection for a Hisense TV. The tv had a manufacture warranty for 2 years. I started having issues with the TV as soon as it got outside of the warranty. Hisense said they couldn’t help so I called Best Buy to see about my Geek Squad Protection, the rep told me it ran concurrently with my manufacturer warranty from Hisense. So I’m not only out the money for a defective TV, I’m out $120 for GSP that didn’t start after my manufacturer’s warranty ended.

It is always good to get the protection plan on almost everything, some things have defects & what not. I bought a brand new tv had it a lil over a month & started to see red dots in several places called the geek squad they sent someone out & it had to be replaced, had i not had that protection plan i would have been on my own, at least get the two yrs if nothing else

Well, I've never really had to use geek squad and that means the quality of the products purchased are a success.

price worth it for peace of mind. haven't been disappointed yet.

With my new MacBook, I really appreciated the Geek Squad tech’s knowledge and explanations in setting up my new MacBook Air M3.

I'm a big fan of the Geek Squad protection packages. They replaced a 65" LG OLED C6 TV a few years ago due to burn in and the replacement process was hassle free and went very smoothly. On a side note, the standard warranty included with LG OLED TVs does not cover burn in. I purchase the Geek Squad Protection Plans on all electronics I buy from Best Buy.

I just purchased a 55 inch Samsung KS9000 television. I felt that it was important to also purchase 5 years of Geek Squad Protection. I have always had great experiences with Geek Squad. Anytime I have a problem, all I have to do is call them and they try to help me over the phone. If they cannot help over the phone, they come out to my house. The Geek Squad is always very professional, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Tv went out and geek squad came out the diagnosis the tv. They ordered the part and was back out to fix the tv the Saturday after thanksgiving. Tech Frank did an amazing job

I purchased this unit to replace an older plasma that did not have a full tunner. This unit has a very good tuner with many built in apps. Sound is fair a sound bar would help.

Better safe than sorry. Just get it, it ends up being worth it.

I have not had to use it yet. And I pray I will not have to. But I am glad I brought it. This is my second TV from Best Buy. I never had a problem with the first TV.

Thankfully we had a protection plan, as our less than five year old television failed. We were able to upgrade to a new TV at no cost. Best Buy provided excellent advice and service.

I will go back every time for my iPhones and iPad. Great people

Sound is incredible, easy set-up. Crisp clean sound and compact. Definitely recommend this product and buying it from BestBuy. Lowest price around

I have loved having the geek squad very very awesome service but I believe the price to much and it u pay for it, it should be the total best for the white purchase of what it covers

If you're getting something expensive, grab this and save yourself some money and headache in the long run. Remember these appliances arent made to last forever.

The Geek Squad unpacked my 65" Oled TV & set it up so fast I couldn't believe it. They explained the actual TV set up to me as they were connecting it to my supplier. The two squad members seemed to enjoy their jobs as well as explain everything to the customer. They even took the empty cardboard box with them. What more can you ask for? They are great.
