    Delivery Sucks

    This review is not necessarily about the product since I haven't received mine yet. My review is about the poor, terrible, undeniable unprofessional delivery system Best Buy has. I scheduled a delivery for a Tuesday, they never called, never showed up, put the wrong product on the truck, then instead of making my order a priority they wanted me to reschedule. I reschedule then for Friday 7am-1pm since I know now Best Buy delivery is untrustworthy and yet again they did not call, still didn't make 1PM delivery time, then I'm passed around from agent to management and neither could give me an ETA on arrival. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced from any company. Best Buy needs to be slapped for their poor service. This is my first time ever buying an appliance online from anyone and I decided to choose Best Buy which has turned out to be a mistake. They don't deserve anyone's money or business if this is how they treat their customers. I'm on the verge of hating the company and will probably never buy another item from them online again. I'm am beyond angry.

    Well it worked well until Oct 1, 2023. My warranty is up oct 15, any more problems won’t be covered! Can’t get extended warranty

    I buy this a lot from Best Buy, you can not go wrong with it for anything that plugs in to outlet or uses battery or batteries.

    Samsung Refrigerator 24.6-cuft - 5yr geek squad

    Technician arrived to fix a know issue with these refrigerators. Ice build and drain issue. Impatient/incompetent technician failed to defrost cover while trying to access fan/evaporation coil. During removal refrigerant line was broken. This turned a refrigerator with a ice build up problem to an even bigger piece of junk. Now going on 9 days we have received no solution and told it will be at least another 13 days before it can be repaired. +/- $300 of food in the garbage and eating out has been costly. All for an issue that I could have repaired myself had product not been under warranty.

    Worst protection plan ever! I called to schedule a repair because my refrigerator is not cooling and I was told to call the manufacturer because LG fridge comes with a warranty of five yrs on the compressor so they won’t even touch the unit. So I called LG and the soonest appointment they had was a week from today. Keep in mind this is during Covid and I’m without a refrigerator for a whole week because they can’t touch the unit for a cooling issue even though it says they cover no cooling issues when they sell you the plan. Please save your money and don’t buy their protection plan because they won’t help you! I asked to speak with a supervisor as well and they kept me on hold for an hour and then hung up on me, so that’s the kind of service they provide in case you were wondering!

    Geek squad came in and efficiently put my fridge into place, hooked up the water, made sure the unit was level & doors were set correctly. Love the fridge. Bigger that I expected but looks perfect. It fits perfectly in my kitchen.

    Im sure the freezer is great. But Best buy is not. Got this shipped to me quick and on time but it was damaged. Called in to see if they could replace it and they said id have to bring it in. Not many people have a vehicle that can fit this size freezer so im was surprised they are making me bring it back in. I also bought the $140 GSP and still have to take it in. I will be returning this and going with a better more customer friendly option like Abt electronics they have never disappointed. It was a mistake buying anything from best buy. This is not my first time having issues with this soon to be out of business store.

    We thought we were getting a great deal by purchasing Geek Squad…unfortunately it turned out to be the opposite. We purchased a washer/dryer set with 5 years on each. Three years in, the washer breaks. We called Best Buy on 1/26. The technician came 1/31. We were told 2-3 weeks for the part. We tried to contact the technician several times but got no response. Finally, we contacted Geek Squad. They tried to tell us there was nothing they could do. It is now 3/5 and we are still without a washer. We are spending a lot of money at the laundry mat. After numerous calls and lots of pushing, they did FINALLY approve for us to receive a brand new washer!! But guess what, the gift cards and sales that we used were no longer valid. We ending up paying $150 more for the EXACT same washer we had in the first place. Yes. We did receive a washer cheaper than what we would have without Geek Squad, but the entire experience was so ridiculous. We will never purchase another appliance/Geek Squad service again. We will stay local!

    Expensive, but a refrigerator has lots of moving and working parts. Feel "safer" using it.

    Poor extended warranty service

    Extremely dissatisfied with the lack effort from the extended warranty department to make sure appointments are done in a timely manner, called about my LG refrigerator not cooling , I was given an appointment 10 days in the future to only look at the unit (meanwhile all my food went bad and had to eat out all the time); found out from LG that a part was ordered and will arrive 2 days later, another appointment was set up by Best Buy warranty department for the technician to come back and do the repair 13 days after the first one but if try to change with LG I will get charge even though I purchased the extended warranty, best buy will not accommodate me to an earlier appointment even though it was possible, will not recommend services. Scheduling should not be done this way , specially not on mayor appliances like this one.
