    This is a 3-year protection plan, as only two weeks have passed, I am unable to provide an accurate assessment. Seems okay, but time will tell.

    If you are buying an appliance you have to have the extra warranty. The system is built to require it. Don't go alone on a refrigerator... I guarantee you will need it before the 5 years is out. My last unit needed 5 repairs then finally replacement. It saved me over $3,000!

    Purchased this fridge at the outlet and had an issue with lighting on the fridge and I called the Geek Squad. They helped me get in to touch with manufacturer and resolved our issue.

    I've had Geek Squad protection on other Tech that I've bought in the past and their customer service is 5 star. I knew it be a good idea to get it with my new fridge.

    IF YOU LIVE IN ULSTER COUNTY BE WARE DO NOT BUY A YEARLY CONTRACT THE DO NOT SERVICE THE ARE BECAUSE THE STORE IN KINGSTON WAS CLOSED AND THE COMPANY REFUES TO PUT A LOCATION IN THE ULSTER COUNTY AREA 2 ITEMS I BOUGHT CAME DAMAGE . waited 5 app. for camera's instalation.

    I haven't used mine yet, but I read through the types of options that are fixable through geek squad. Seems to cover a good amount that isn't user error.

    Very spacious fridge the freezer part of it not as big as I wanted it it to be but great working fridge gets cold fast and so far not one issue though the stream to the water is really good so it does splash a bit of water when ice is in the cup but not to big of a deal

    not happy with the need for a new warranty. I purchased a 5 yr warranty for my original purchase that I could not use for my replacement.

    Geek Squad protection is well worth the expense works. Have used it in the past with great success. Had to have the oven door replaced crew was clean, quick, and polite.

    Having this warranty is a must these days! Things just aren't made like they used to be. This is a great warranty and it is well worth the money. We buy one with every purchase!

    Save your Money Back Ordered Parts

    Replacement parts on back order with no est. in-stock date. I purchased an expensive refrigerator that the ice maker quit working on it. Called for service and they promptly sent someone out. Rep told me they were ordering a new ice maker and that it would come directly to me and to call in again once I received it. A day or two after the rep left the fridge stopped cooling so all of my food is spoiling. Yes, they have a food replacement claim form but that is for $200 MAX overall. I have teenage kids we go through that in a week! So I called back in for service on the cooling of my fridge and to my surprise I was told they WILL NOT send anyone else out until my part comes in and they install it. So I ask what is the estimated delivery time for my part and I am told that they don't have one because its on back order. So at this moment I have a 3k fridge in my kitchen with an expensive Geek Squad warranty that was supposed to protect my investment. But what is happening is that every time I call the best-buy warranty service and wait an hour and a half to speak to the first person(that is not an exaggeration) each rep tells me that the previous rep processed my claim wrong and that they are doing it right and I will have another company come out to fix this because this is a major break down. Only for me to wait and receive my scheduling email and see that I am again booked for the same warranty company A&E and they never show up because they wont come out until the ice maker has been shipped to me. I have remained hopeful that this will be resolved professionally but with how my claim is being bungled I don't know. FYI for those buying these plans they tell you that if the product breaks down and they can't fix it they will replace the product. THAT IS NOT THE TRUTH. Thats what I was told so I purchased the product only to learn now that I need help that "your warranty doesn't have that option" WHAT?!?! I purchased the only warranty available to me and purchased it based on that statement. Long story short, store workers don't know much about the warranty info. They are telling you what ever they need to to sell a warranty and get a pat on the head from the manager.
