I’ve purchased geek squad with nearly every product I buy from Bestbuy. Though manufacturers warranty is there, it’s usually limited. I suggest geeks squad with your purchase

Horrible!!! The water tasted bad after putting in a new water filter. Put in a work order, they came out and said it was the water line connector that's causing the bad tastes in the water. They do not services anything attached to the refrigerator. The warranty only covered what is build on the refrigerator. Replaced a new water line connector, the water still tasted bad.

Well worth the extra cost...guys were courteous, quick, professional and did any excellent job with unwrapping, installing and hooking up my new refridgerator!

Purchased the protection but have not needed to use it yet.

I am very pleased with the geek squad protection plan. I’m happy to know that my product is covered under warranty and there’s nothing I have to worry about if I run into any issues.

I just purchased my refrigerator and haven't needed to use the warranty yet, but I know it is very handy when appliances get old and break down, fixing becomes very expensive to pay for parts and labor. I think it is a good choice to have it.

Geek squad noticed a few dings on the refrigerator as soon as they unpacked it. They were able to call geek squad/best buy and get us a partial refund.

We love this refrigerator. Never had this much refrigerator and freezer space. The ice cube maker makes great ice of a couple different sizes.

Always get the plan on any appliance or computer you purchase. You never know when something may go wrong. I always buy the protection plan

5 year service plan always a good idea on major appliances. I already it twice in one year.

The Geek squad protection plan is a great product to get on your new purchase. It had save me a couple of times. Or i would had to pay for a expensive bill.

Best Buy brought the wrong fridge, then 3 fridges that didn't work until we finally got a different (working fridge). Therefore, you must have a warranty!

Be careful, the BB Protection Plans run concurrently with the manufacturer's. So when I purchased a 3 year plan, I assumed it would extend the manufacturer's plan of year by 3 more, so four year total. That is what I was also told by two different sales people. But no, it runs concurrently, so I actually payed for 3 additional years but am only getting 2, since by the terms of the agreement BB will submit warranty claims first to the manufacturer.

The Geek Squad Warranty offered by Best Buy is the warranty I purchase for all my appliances and electronic... Excellent Service and very knowledgeable staff.
