Best Buy has always stood behind their extended warranty. I've had to use this service before, and I was very happy that I had bought this from Best Buy.

Only covers issues that affect the operation not comes Eric issues such as dents and scratches.

I have geek squad protection for my dishwasher. The GE dishwasher has broken down after two years of use. So far, I have been unimpressed with Geek Squad service. I had to wait 30 minutes to try and get an appointment on a phone call only to have them drop my call. I then resorted to online chat, and I had better results in that I got an appointment scheduled for them to check the machine (still took about 20 minutes for her to schedule the appt on the chat). Unfortunately, that appt is 2 weeks out. My guess is once they come to check it, they will order parts. I will, as a result, be without a dishwasher for several weeks. There is really no quality support here. The scheduling was terrible. The wait is terrible. I have bought a few appliances from Best Buy, but after this experience, I am done with them.

Thankfully I haven’t had to use this yet but I’ll give it five stars for the cost

Got this with the purchase of multiple items. If you spend a lot of money on products, you should also want to have the best insurance.
