    5year warranty in a misnomer as 1st yr coverage is for any issues not covered by mfrs warranty.what?seems to me its more like a 4yr geek protection plan

    I think the Geek Squad warranty is good. But they do not issue any portion of refund in the event that it was never used. Most competitors offer 30-50% of the warranty price back to you if you never file a claim for the duration of the warranty.
